Splitfire 1165v first run. Impressive!

Hi Derek - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. A very impressive machine with great knife speed. However, I would prefer a longer knife to more effectively split the larger rounds even if the that resukted in reduced speed.

Great little machine. I’m shocked how fast it is. Like other commenters, I think a foot pedal would be safer- you can free up both hands to keep the block where it’s supposed to be. I like it! Jeff

Great machine as soon as they incorporate a foot control I will order one!

New Sub! Looking into getting the electric version this fall. How do you like the hand operated control? Would it be better with a foot pedal?

Subscribed!! Very interested in this machine!! Thanks for sharing! How tall is the working table? I deal with a lot of really big tree service wood. I wonder how it would do with a really big round! (40" red oak). Probably would have to remove that guard on the front.

Looks like it's working good! Does it look like a foot pedal could be fabricated for it? I know Splitfire says it's a safety issue but...

Wow it's a speedster, where is this machine manufactured it would be easy enough to put in a foot pedal.

Doesn't look like it has enough power to lift or process anything over 12- 15 in.

Don't put you hand on top of the round that is being split you could lose your hand or some fingers for sure.
