I sit here and think, "Why am I watching firewood being split?" It's great to see someone make a business out of the oldest heating product we use. And he makes great videos.

Just a suggestion about your problem with shortness of breath, this could be a symptom of a blockage of the circulatory system. DO NOT IGNORE THIS. Have yourself checked out. It’s a lot better to find this before any damage is done to your heart. If there is a blockage it can be treated easily and corrected. No amount of exercise is going to unblock an artery. I had an idea for you and totes. If the mud bowl you experienced is disruptive to your business, would it be helpful to fill some totes with wood? Assuming the mud event is predictable, you could store some wood in totes and move them onto the concrete before you lose access to your firewood area. Hopefully this is a useful idea

I must have missed something when I watch the Episode where the offcut door ram broke free. If is it only the door mechanism which is broken then why continue Processing without using that function. Prop the door closed. Measure and cut the logs to length while they are in the grapple and process as normal. There will be no offcuts so just process the logs. But I am Australian so perhaps we just make do. I am sure there must be some other reason why the processor is down. David. Down Under.

Questioning the purpose of MB22 it’s not cutting pieces small enough respiting isn’t efficient to get it to customer specifications. In theory using a splitter that slices and cuts would be more beneficial to get the right sizes every time on nearly😊
@InTheWoodyard
@InTheWoodyard 7 месяцев назад
The purpose is to sit in a chair to cut and split 1-2 full cords an hour. I make some of the pieces smaller because my customers like smaller splits. They do not have to be smaller but I want them to be. The 22mb can easily process 12-14 full cords a day ...one full semi truck load.

Chris has said in some of the previous videos, that his clients are mainly fireplace burners, not heating wood for boilers for central heating. So they want pieces that they can lift with one hand, and put in the fireplace. Plus the smaller splits dry faster than the larger big chunks. So to service his clientele he resplits into nice size, takes awhile but with the Ultra not too long!
