many thanks to you for this video. was an igcse student and this was not covered in our syllabus. am now a foundation student in university and my statistics lecturer skipped over the basics of this topic. This video really saved me, i now understand how to use the table and to find probabilities. 🙏
Thanks for the feedback. However I have double checked from the reference book. The z (smaller than) x or z (bigger than) x will give you the same value in this chapter. So, I would like to thank you once again to voice up the issue :-)
This is the topic that I dislike the most but you make it looks so simple, thank you so much teacher! I hope I can prepare well for my add maths SPM exam😭
Can i ask you something the part at 15:38 where you turn a negative into positive is a bit confusing. For example if 5>-4 doesn't equal to 5-4 is equal to -5
love this video.. can i ask.. is it ok for me to use a calculator to find the probability instead of referring it to the distribution table? and.. how do i find the n value if the probability is given. (For example: P(Z>n)=0.3015...find n. how do i find n using a calculator?
In my recommendation, you should use the table because using the calculator can be more complicated due to the button sequence you have to memorise. Trust me, I once used the calculator and it's freaking confusing. -_-
