I don't know why everyone is talking about a wind machine and Dave Meros. It's just nature reacting to his playing and awesome shirt with high speed winds of coolness.
He was only a session drummer for this album so since he's not officialy part of the band I guess they felt it wouldn't feel right to have him in the video ?
I have Spocks beard Albums, so: - Beware of Darkness (1996) - Kindness of Strangers (1998) - Day for Night (1999) - V (2000) - Snow (2002) - Feel Euphoria (2003) - Octabe (2005) - X (2010) - Brief Nocturnes and dreamless Sleep (2013) - The oblivion Particle (2015) My Father have The Light (1995) and the V (2000) I know the 4 The Light-Songs. The Light (1995), Spocks Beard (2006) and Noise Floor (2018) will next to earn. Greetings from Poland / Witam z Polski :-D
I really like how Ted is being filmed on a computer through Skype or something. You can even see the edge of the computer or laptop screen. Really good song, by the way. Can't wait for Noise Floor.
Keep on rocking it boys! This could be the lowest budget video I've ever seen, but it does have it's charm, and the music is great! A Day One purchase for me for sure!
I'm a huge fan of the Beard but this video is hilarious! Dave with his silk shirt and wind machine kept me in stitches every time the camera cut to him and the singer Ted Leonard has crazy eyes and is recording (or at least lip syncing) from a little room with a Sesame Street puppet in the background. I know prog bands don't have a lot of money for a high end video production but the backgrounds could have been a lot better. The good news is the album is awesome through and through - love this song and all the rest! Great job guys (on the music) lol
@@ballaballapo I don't think that's fair. First off, if you want a Yes clone, try Wobbler. This takes inspiration from a number of 70s prog bands, including Kansas (overall style), Gentle Giant (keyboard syncopation), King Crimson (guitar friptronics and the devolving minor chords), etc. Really the only Yes comparison is the driving bass/keyboard rhythm, and that popping rickenbaker bass, which you'll also hear in Rush.
Funny looking at this clip from 2,5 year old clip and seeing all these artists collaborating in this way in these COVID-days. Was this video what inspired them?
Wow.... pretty impressive. It's been a long time since I have listened to SB. So long that I wasn't aware Ted Leonard was in the band now. I am a big Enchant fan too, so this is double awesome!
Ted joined late 2011 or so. You may want to check out their previous two studio albums with Ted signing "Brief Nocturnes and Dreamless Sleep" and "The Oblivion Particle". Also, if you go to this website spocksbeard.bandcamp.com the first item (digital audio download) "Live at Sea" for $7, has a live performance with Ted singing and then being joined on the last 2 tracks by Neal Morse.
He did two albums with them prior to this one: The Oblivion Particle and Brief Nocturnes & Dreamless Sleep. Check out both....but BNaDS is my favorite album from SB.
last 2 cds almost impossible to get that dreaded burnout where they never ever sound as good again. hope this one the same ted leonard awesome in enchant even more with the beard
Noise floor is an interesting album. It’s no Day for Night or TKOS at all. Those albums left when Neil did but I like that SB is still trying to put out more albums. So for that I applaud all of them.
Hi Janne 👋 I hope my comment didn't sound as a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful woman with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this complement. If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….

Demencialex I not play base guitar professionally, I as Ibanez fan. His base sound of Rickenbacker 👍. But by sound of Ibanez SR 5000/5005/5006 prestige here like rickenbacker by Dave from Beware of Darkness.
Looking forward to see you back in The Netherlands again :). Any news on the tour and who will do the drum parts? If Nick is unable to reserve time for a European tour my bets are on Collin Leijenaar.
Amazing he is indeed! Ouch, that's a bummer. Hope he recovers. I know he played a couple of gigs in january as he became the drummer for Kayak. What about Eric Gilette? Does he have some spare time in his busy schedule? :)
