@@ShanaLawson oh no I’ve seen them both and the original is good. The cringe acting at times in this one is what ruined it for me. But the way he even explained weird plot holes still just makes it sound like I never watched it and it’s a good version.
What makes you think he didn't work his butt off to get a billion dollars? If it was so easy to get a billion and you don't have to work for it, why haven't you done it? Ever think about that? Probs not
Okay the dad who made him choose between the family and his love ended up loving his new grand daughters 🥰 extremely cute movie! Thank you for the recap!
@@mabru4318 Responsibility without authority is slavery. Without authority men have no incentive to be responsible. Even the complete quote doesn't make sense, wtf are you on about? How is related to fatherhood lmao?
I remember the original Overboard with Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn (roles were reversed ...she was the rich one). It was a really good movie. It was really funny (funnier still they were a couple in real life too...and still are)
Every human is born to be a hard worker even if later in life they aren't at all. It's something you can all fall back to. The world was built by hard workers after all.
I had a copy of the Kurt Russell / Goldie Hawn version from the '80's which I watched over and over again. Kind of a silly comedy piece but their on-screen relationship was kinetic and the little kids acting a real tear-jerker in the sweetest way. This version seems to embody the same and I look forward to checking it out. Thanks for the review!
@@saraeissa4954 can you point exact point where anybody here said original is ok? Any of 3 posts above your comment. Any place in them. You have 12 words to find spot among them.
I actually love your description of this film. I am a big fan of the original film, with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. I didn’t care much for this adaptation, but since you make it sound better than I remember - - I will rewatch it. There’s been other films that I didn’t like much the first time I watched them, but have become a fan of a few of them after watching several times.
Why does people call these videos as "reviews"? It's not. They are summaries. Reviews are supposed to have the person's interpretations and reactions about the movie and this video just summarizes it.
@@favouronwuchekwa it’s the program mistaking the pronounciation of the “gh” sound in “daughters” for the alternative “gh” sound in words like “laughter” or “cough”. So instead of “daughters” it said “dafters” lol.
@@floridasoldat Thank you for explaining that. I knew it was a robot voice just READING text, but I figured that the damned AI would understand the word DAUGHTERS and not pronounce the letter "GH" as "F" (like in tough). But leave it to ROBO VOICE to screw things up. hahahahahaha
The coolest part about this movie IMO is that the main actor payed for it himself and wrote the script. He took a gamble and made an excellent film and it was the same for Instructions Not Included
I hate when people say channels like this ruin movies. That's not true at all. The people who watch these channels are looking for spoilers and in a lot of case, we will watch the movie after seeing a video like this. Like, I'm literally looking for this movie now because of this video lol. So thanks!
i grew up on the Orignal version with kurt russell and goldie han and it was my favorite movie but when i seen this new reboot i clicked so fast, never knew thiscame out and this version still made me cry,
totally felt for the two sisters in the beginning lol imagine working hard and your dad giving the company to someone who didn't do shit EDIT: until she faked his death LMAAOOO damn she SHADYYY the second sister is my favorite, she's smart
This is a remake of the original overboard that I personally like better! With the guy (i forgot his name) that plays Petter’s dad in Garudians of the galaxy
Hello love ur vids keep up the amazing work and people sub because he spends so Mitch time on these movies he has to edit it watch it and speak the whole way through
The original movie was called Overboard with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell where Goldie Hawn was the spoiled rich person. Funny that even the female character in this looked much like Goldie.
