In Japan, we don't expect people to speak in Japanese 😊👍 no worries! So, Menu, station names, streets have english alphabet written and we have maps written in english or you could simply ask and we are very happy to help. I can relate to being frustrated with airports and airlines, but I never acted like that. I also had a bad experience with American Airlines where the airplane only had enough fuel to go back to the gate. I ended up being stranded in the airport for four hours while my family bought new tickets from Alaska.

Plus, not getting what you want is about controlling the money you have or using the money for something else or simply just saving up. And not getting a piece of gum is bad parenting. What is bad parenting is abusive actions. Not getting what you want is normal lifestyle. Unless you're rich and spoiled.
