I met Suzette at the Selena Museum in 2011. Like Selena, she's a wonderful, down-to-earth woman - none of that "do you know who I am?" type of attitude that so many other famous people have. And, her husband, Bill, is a really cool guy, too. He took me into the Q Productions recording studio - actually one of three on the grounds - for a look around. It's the same one shown in the "I Could Fall In Love" scene in "Selena". It was an experience this huge Selena fan will never forget, and I can't wait to get back to Corpus one day. P.S. - One of Selena's stage outfits is, indeed, in The Smithsonian, and The Smithsonian also named her "one of the 100 coolest Americans in history" in 2014. God bless Selena, who inspired us to follow our dreams, taught us that humility is a virtue, and that the only way to love is to love with all your heart.
