I feel like she didn’t get Ego already because she was locked in the whale and couldn’t see the light. Once the Golden Borough got too close to her she awakened

She never really surrendered to her feelings and despair she had a clear and obvious ideal she wanted to chase however delusional it may have been. That's also how Dongrang distorted AND THEN manifested EGO after he relapsed and decided to keep chasing those empty highs making technology he made it his sole goal in life

Almost as satisfying as when you parry Kromer's 'I Shall Claim Your Life' in Canto 3, causing her to insta-stagger. It even follows the similar animation, with a thrown javeline-like projectile freezing in slow motion and then getting reflected back by the Sinner.

More interesting is when several people point the skill to ishmael herself lmao(myself included)

I mean, it’s quite obvious that’s what the story was building towards.

Really depends on build. Some of them have much easier time with the earlier fight.

@@user-pz2xc7ig7o the abno was easy, Ahab fight was just a whole another level of hell cause of her targeting is focused. Had to spent almost 2 hours to fight her first fight and breezing through her second fight with just one retry cause bad RNG

All because of that Attack taunt mechanic Ahab 1 is a damage check, but unlike with Faelantern that wastes your time for not chopping it in time, she will just murder the sinner who is weakest against her damage type that’s basically unclashable.

@@aeugh8998 i made a mistake of not bringing the tanks and \ or sinking characters. So... i managed to rush the first fight while using plenty of EGOs to survive. Second one was just wiping the floor with my battered team thanks to third phase counters (no sinking = constant 45 sp agains gradually deranging nuggets). I beaten it up after difficulty tweak, but before that it was basically unfeasable (or at least required more time then i was willing to take)

Considering it's a lighter blue it could be Gloom instead for Pip. I think it fits better with him becoming depressed due to Stubb's death.

Yeah this solo take less RNG to win then Farmwatch for sure

wait did them nerfed that battle as mid difficulty for me the worst part as the start the rest as kida better but i undestand that sometimes bosses might be way to hard for other type of teams

I think the nerf was also prob for the first Ahab fight, that one is miles harder

I thought it was mainly the fight before this that needed the nerf, because you were screwed if you didn’t have someone with the resistances to handle being focused down by everyone’s attacks due to the targeting gimmick.

welcome to project moon fandom you going to weird things good luck agent but you relly god spoiler of this fight that is from canto 5 that relesed the last part today its a gacha game too but gacha on this game are not that predadory i recomend playing or seeying the lore of lobotomy corp and library of ruina to understand some stuff in the game also limbus company is free because well its a gacha game but there a price you soul since this game will take all you free time farming stuff or being hype for the next intervalo that going to be i thik 5.5 or sometigh

@@christianrodriguez8577 I imagine in-universe it's because Dante is really insistent on standing between Ishmael and Ahab, comically jumping left and right whenever Ishmael is trying to aim past them. They REALLY don't want her to fall to that obsession.
