My son bought me a Bread-maker last Christmas so I could make my own Gluten-free bread, as it’s SO expensive over here in the UK. I used it once, didn’t like the bread it made & haven’t used it since😢!

@minkgin3370 ugh...I hear you on that. I spent about 3 months fighting a bread machine with gf flour. I found a taste and texture I like but it won't stay consistent. One time it works great... the next it explodes out of pan and burns in machine. I use exact ingredients and went crazy trying to find the trick.

Congrats on the house progress! How exciting! My husband got me the same bread machine, even tho I said I didn’t need it.. have a mixer, old fashioned etc.. He was right and it saves so much time. I love it! Bread loaves, pizza dough, yeast rolls. Enjoy!

I use the bread machine sometimes. Sometimes I use.my dutch oven and sometimes I just throw it in a pan and bake. It's just how I'm feeling that day lol. I really do want to get.one more bread machine

If you want to churn out more bread loaves quicker, you can do the dough cycle in the bread machine, take it out and form it into a loaf pan and bake in the oven. While that is baking in the oven, you can start another load of dough in the bread machine.

So the machine you have bakes the bread too. This amaze's me. The bread looked so good! With a large family anything that makes life easier for mom is worth it's weight in gold. Happy for you!

Some bread machines have a dough and rise feature and then you just dump in the pan and keep going with another btw h if dough

I have 2 bread machines. My hands won't let me knead the dough anymore. Just use the settings on dough. Can make rolls, loaves, cinnamon rolls. Anything goes. You will love it

I had a bread machine when I first got married . It made terrible bread . I just got me another one and it makes amazing bread. Maybe it was just the machines that came out years ago was no count lol.

I use my bread machine on the dough setting and then reshape, let rise in a new loaf pan and bake in my oven. I just feel like the bread machine loaves are dense because it is smaller. Pizza dough on dough setting too! Even discard sourdough sandwich loaves. It's great for not having to think about the rise time. Just a tip though: If you cover your sourdough with aluminum foil, the starter will have a chemical reaction to it (if it touches it) and you'll get black spots. I just saw you have a ferment setting too! How exciting you get to see your house!! I cant believe how fast that was!!

Love this!!! I use my bread machine to the point of taking out for first and second rise. You get the normal loaves in the oven. Happy for you all about your new home!!!

Another thing is if you’re making bread in the bread machine it will free your oven up for other things at the same time if you need it ;)

Hi Jessica, I use a bread machine all the time. Almost daily, but I really like doing the dough cycle and baking in a bread pan in oven. Enjoy your new bread machine. Oh, if u have issues with paddle sticking in bread or dough give a little spray with non stick spray. 🥰

I have never made homemade bread but I was schocked when a friend told me about and it is a high end name brand bread machine that you put your ingredients in and it mixes the bread and then it bakes the bread 2 loaves at a time and the price you cannot beat. We eat not even a loaf of bread a week here. Well my husband might as well say lives in his shop and he only eats whole wheat like 12 grain bread and I know it is good for you but I cannot eat wheat bread do not like the smell or the taste but I may only eat 1 or 2 slices in a whole week if I make a tuna sandwich or a slice of toast once or twice a week.Plus a lot of people who use a lot of bread or have a large family will freeze their bread and I do not like the taste of bread that has been frozen and thawed. Guess I must not be a bread eater. But love the bread machine you got so let us know how you like your new bread machine.
