So great ideas. Love combining foliage with the star and how the sentiment strip aligned with the red stripe. I can also see how the star would work for birthday or congratulation cards.

What beautiful cards! I love how you demonstrated a simple card, and then a more fussy one. One question: did you have difficulty sewing with such a long piece of gold thread? Like, did it tangle or knot up as you stitched with it? Many thanks!

Thank you so much, that's kind of you! The thread length was okay, any longer I may have got into bother though! As I'm pulling it through, I try to control the excess with another finger if I can. It's a balancing act often though. I'm lazy about rethreading so I often thread more than I might need!
