(Spoilers) LISA: The Pointless OST - Firebird (JoyfulWarzone rerendering) 

Given that joy mutants usually seek out to do what they enjoyed most in life, I can see an infinitized mutant being an absolute horror.

Y'know, the thing about the Infinity Franchise that honestly, truly, scares me is embodied in Arnold. I'm not saying Arnold scares me in the conventional sense, although I won't deny he is a very intimidating figure. I'm saying he scares me thanks to what he represents. Arnold scares me because he really, REALLY reminds me of Brad and Alex. Everything about him makes it clear that before all this madness with the Franchise began, that Arnold used to be a guy with his own life, something that's exemplified when he find a mechanic's shop in Downtown Olathe that's implied to belong to him. It helps make it clear that this character had a life before some poor sap went and unearthed all those *88* jerseys, completely unaware of what he unleashed. And my Brad and Alex comparison doesn't come lightly either. Everything about Arnold, from his rugged appearance to fighting style, gives off the impression, that like our two bearded protagonists, he went through a lot of hardships in his life both before and after the white flash, and that he had his own story to tell before he got sucked into the Infinity Franchise's mindless violence for the sake of violence. The fact that he has a refined boxing style, like Brad with his Armstrong Style and Alex with his Velvet Fu, really helps hammer their similarities down in my opinion. And that's what scares me about Arnold, he feels like somebody that could've been the main character of his own Lisa story, and knowing that somebody like him got sucked into the Infinity Franchise's madness gives off the impression that *nobody*, not Alex, Joel, or Brad, is safe from being consumed by the same insanity that consumed Arnold and so many others. It just creeps me out knowing that I could very easily see Alex and Arnold swapping places in The Pointless, their own histories completely unchanged, or that I could very easily picture Brad in Arnold's place.

I fucking love this song, it’s the “oh fuck” vibe this song captures so well i love. It’s a mess of sound, like how your strategy gets screwed up. And the sense of dark impending beats in the song really boost that feeling of being fucked. You find out that whatever humanity Arnold held onto is absolutely wiped away. This is probably one of my favorite moments in the game. Phenomenal job done here

This song is something of fear. It's like watching something massive slowly approach you, knowing there's nothing you can do to stop it.

There are some people who want to be salvaged and there are others who accept who they are.

The Big Jerseyhead Has Cometh

I love the odd innocence of 1:36 Very unsettling.

I wasn't expecting this when fighting Arnold. It caught me off guard and threw off my strategies altogether.I was brutalized but when I realized that the game continues when you lose, first thing I thought was "well shit! There goes all of my resources!" I had to load my previous save in order to have my stuff, but I will admit I did try to beat this guy. He's just a lot tougher than he looks and I wasnt wise with my health items

This is hands down one of my favorite tracks from the Pointless. Tremendously disturbing, yet absolutely aawesome.

This is the fight of pure manly men!!! Alex and joel Trying to escape the madness of thr franchise against Arnold sphitz a man who lost his identity to the franchise and became no one in particular, a really memorable fight!

It's ok to use joy because the game's not finished and there are no consequences to my actions.

Holy shit did I get shivers once I killed him and met the Infinity army. Dude killed a joy beast with his bare hands! I mean, so did Alex, along with Joel with a weapon not actually used, just kinda waved around to spook them a bit and shit.

Firebird is a relatively old song and it's cool to see it brought back for a reimagining

Have a theory about that: What if joy was made from the green fumes from human meat? Maybe the original franchise was just a group of joy boys killing peoples for meat but get infinitised by breathing the fumes. Because both joy and infinity can: -make you hallucinate (related to your past or not) -make you violent based on your deepest desire -body deformation before mutation (Just look at Anaconda, Stephan, and Jessie, they have some serious problem with their head) -and then, total mutation (joy seem to be softer since muting from fumes can litterally give you move heads, seen with Arnold)
