I'm glad to see SEGA trying to get more people aware of puyo puyo. First it was with project Mira DX, then sega 3D classics collection, then puyo puyo tetris and now this. With enough people aware they might just release chronicles outside of Japan. Keep up the good work SEGA.

I'd played Mean Bean Machine as a kid, but never really "got" it. I almost picked up Puyo Pop Fever on GBA when it came out but didn't when my parents said the box art looked too girly. So Sonic Mania's unlockable Puyo Puyo mode was the first time I could really play it to any degree... and I love it! I want to become good at Puyo, I've since picked up Puyo Puyo Tetris (and have become completely addicted). I've thought myself the concept of block chaining and am now practicing the 3-1 stairs technique. I can consistently get a nice 4 or 5 chain, but my dream is to be able to make chains like the one in this video!

I loved this so much when i discovered it. This immediately made me want the game.

It's not quite Puyo 1 since you can turn in tight shapes. It's also pretty glitchy. I've clipped a puyo into another before.

OK, if there's one thing for sure, I have been trying to set up my Logitech F310 USB controller for use with Puyo Puyo 3 (PC), but looks like only A and B works, but not the joystick (L or R), or even the D-Pad. So how can you even set up this "2P Mode"?

I really wish they made Tsu rules as a setting for the Extras version.

"...cover of Dark Prince's theme from the original Puyo Puyo" You do know that the character's name is "Satan" and not "Dark Prince" right? That was a localization thing to remove a religious reference. The game actually specifically calls him "Satan."
