Please do know that I love what Hakita cooked up for P-2, this was just solely out of curiousity of how well it'd fit. While I personally think Hakita's own music works so much better, I'm glad so many people think my music still fits.
Kinda a shame Pantopticon goes down to quick to enjoy Subordination, but given how many people I saw get smoked by that Mortar spam alone, I can't blame Hakita much. Insurrection also sounds incredible for this fight.
I never heard your p-2 fan tracks until this video then I went back and listened to the og video and even though I love the monstrous official Sisyphus I honestly can't tell if I like it over your interpretation of him having the sheer will and devotion to take back the world even if it doesn't fit greed as well
I felt it fit Greed with the idea of him planning to turn V1 into a trophy, but you're free to disagree. I might've chosen thematics that only made sense to me, and that would be my mistake, lol.I felt the idea fit both Greed and Heresy at the same time; the trophy concept relating to Greed, and the idea of it being an idol to be revered relating to Heresy. Glad you like it!!
I definitely prefer Sisyphus' original theme over INSURRECTION, but i actually like subordination better for panopticon. Hard to explain why since I'm not really educated on composition, but it just fits incredibly well.
@@reverie314 the thought process I had was actually just following what I thought Chaos/ORDER set: A Prime theme named after their defining trait (Minos was Order, Sisyphus was Insurrection) and the flesh boss being the opposite, as if standing against them. Instead, it seems the Flesh boss themes are just named after different words for panic or franticness.
insurrection sounds more like a miniboss theme, and subordination has no damn right to go as hard as it does. i may even prefer it over hakita's pandemonium.
Subordination fits better with Panopticons Fight better then Hakita's Version since it has a better impact imo from all the hype Panopticon got with the ARG it had the Music goes quite hard.
I've said it before, but I really don't mind repeating it; While I disagree greatly, I really do appreciate the kind words. I myself like what Hakita cooked up, thought I do prefer PANDEMONIUM over WAR.
@@taxisalad Same, PANDEMONIUM is better then WAR, since WAR is lacking in some places. If only someone made a remix that had the Bloodlust and hate that WAR should have for Sisyphus. I'd also like to hear your reasoning why yours doesn't fit as well as Hakita's Version.
@@ZachHockerSmith I think Hakita's captures something I didn't; the tragedy behind Sisyphus. A life defined by futile struggle, a soul destined to be beaten down and defeated, but he retaliates regardless because he simply wills it. Plus he actually managed to incorporate Sands of Tide, meanwhile I tried to as well but everyone just points and goes "Oh MY gOD, REqOUiEM!!1!" My intent was completely lost in translation. It's the first time I've experienced "Death of the Author" and it's frustrating.
