@@adrih8694 Anime literally is real in their universe lol. The whole "power of friendship" is literally what happens to Asriel in the True Pacifist ending, Undyne literally channels determination to become a final form even though it should be impossible for her, and there's a whole species of monster (tsunderplane) that's based off of an anime archetype. Mad Dummy is able to fuse with the Dummy if her emotions are powerful enough and in the Switch version can literally fuse with an anime catgirl.
@@danbotspooner5081 Yeah. The first time I played I told her "the truth" that anime wasn't real. However, on subsequent playthroughs I've always said it is, because I literally defeat the boss by hoping, dreaming, and believing in my friends.
@@ElectricBarrier Exactly! Deltarune is also literally an Isekai lol. Both of these games are all about using cliche anime tropes and doing them really well, after all it's what Toby grew up on.
@@danbotspooner5081 I dunno about an isekai, typically they're fully separate worlds and people are usually straight up stuck there. I think the comparison's to Persona 4's TV world make sense. It's some sort of other plane of existence directly tied to and reflecting ours, which is also in plenty of anime. But yeah, though, I've seen more anime than a person probably should so I notice all of the anime/JRPG influence which is what makes both games so much fun for me. You can tell he's focused not only on refining the metanarrative he's been trying to get just right since the Earthbound Halloween Hack, but also just trying to make games that are like all the shows and games he likes rolled into one. There are times when I go "wait, did *I* make this game???"
@@readifsussy7428 well the floor moves so that the player cant hit him in time, sans doesnt move when you fight him, besides his arm moving to make you move. (I actually haven’t fought sans so maybe his arm moves in another way other than to move you)

+but nobody came (you can't escape) spoilers here but napstablook's cousin "habstablook" asked alphys for a new body and she made it for him. Hapstablook then only wanted glamour and ignored everything before he got the body. And the mystery key is the key to habstablook's house.
@@jamswoo The issue with dog residue though is that it takes so much time to continuously make residue and sell it off to temmie. It does work, I'm just not a huge fan of the forever residue @_@.
@@fransoto8343 I personally did the cloudy glasses method, because dog residue only selling for 2 to 8G at any given moment is way too low for my liking. By the time of having Alphys upgrade your phone to have two boxes, plus inventory, stockpiling on cloudy glasses makes buying and reselling to Temmie much faster. Also, I'm not sure what you're getting at by the "your deduction power is off".

But yeah, after having bought like a pair of cloudy glasses and buying an extra by accident, and coming upon Temmie's place I realized I could just do the reselling method there, and it just got better having the dimensional boxes.
And for those wondering, if you accept it, it says something along like lines of "Congratulations! You are now mortal enemies with Mettaton!" and then Papyrus says something like "Congratulations! I wish you two a long and painful rivalry!" If you decline it, it says "Mettaton has sent you an invitation to: "Die""

One of the best things i have ever found in undertale is the great relationship between sans and papyrus. It’s so sweet how they always look out for each other.
I love their relationship. Super realistic to actual siblings. They'll annoy each other and act like the other is the bane of their existence but at the end of the day, they still care and try their best to protect each other. Even if it's in small ways. It's adorable.
This game is amazing and it's surprising the amount of complexity there is in it. Like seriously? There is even secret dialogue if you take an umbrella to different characters.
1:07 I expected sans, after it's revealed you can afford it, to take the money and tell you not to cheat, due to having that much gold being impossible at that point.
GC's Gaming Community technically its not impossible because the snowball minigame in that room gives you a little gold depending on how big the.snowball is
Joan Ruiz-Lopez i believe to get that ending you have to meet none of the requirements the other neutral endings require which is basically impossible so you have to hack the game.

If you do a genocide route first but then mercy papyrus after killing every monster in the ruins and smowy you can hang-out with him instead of going on a date

When Papyrus keeps reminding you that you're a murderer, and that he's too oblivious and pure to even understand you are, makes genocide even harder for me to do.
But papyrus does know you are the murderer because if you spare him during a genocide he tells you he was a bit scared of what you were going to do next .,. It's heartbreaking knowing that he really is trying to save YOU knowing maybe he is going to die in the process and help you to be a better person ;_;
Can you imagine resetting and Sans going "Oh, come ON!" and Frisk just smiling mischievously and saying, "No. Just watch. This one's gonna be good." And Sans is just watching Frisk troll everyone and trying not to laugh. Except when you troll Papyrus, in which he's got a set frown the whole time, but still grins when Papyrus turns it around and is STILL optimistic about everything.
