I've also seen Alejandro/ another Genshin VA reaction on Al-haitham and Cyno fight in Sumeru plot And they also said, something like : «Oh, I didn't know that it would such a great cat-scene, because it was like raw grey animation, when we voiced it» So maybe generally the voicelines are recorded before the all plot-twists are written

Jing Yuan was still a young man at the time of the formation, and was implied to be the last member to join. So Jing Yuan is 100% OLDER than 700

People forget you guys also may have recorded stuff months in advance and have several acting roles going on. Keeping track of stuff is, understandably, tough. Especially since you tend to record without all the context and without the visuals most times.

This is exactly why I am told all of the secrets of my friend group. The kind of stuff that it’s like “I just need to tell someone, it’s killing me!” Because I’m an absolute gossip sponge. I love hearing secrets, I listen actively and intently. And then I’ll watch an hour long RU-vid video and completely forgot we even spoke. People will come back the next day like “don’t tell anyone what I told you?” And I’m just like “wait, what did you tell me?” And they think I’m playing along, but I go “your secret is safe with me, because I genuinely completely forgot.” And they always seem disappointed but relieved. I’m really good at keeping secrets, because they just get put right into the paper shredded. It’s awesome. I’ve been proven so good at keeping secrets that people keep telling me more to forget. It’s great, I love it.
