Y’all are reminding me that even after being married for 38 years, we should plan dates! My husband says that I still look at him with “googly” eyes. We have been thru quite the journey including me being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 18 years ago. I know that we are blessed and I’m glad we are partners! Best wishes to Charisma and Cole as they find their footing. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Cole is so hilarious! I think it's awesome that he says I love you all the time. Most people would love to hear those words and don't! Time is precious so are words, so Charisma takes those words to heart and always say them back. I went through 6 deaths in one year just to hear those words again! Enjoy the journey! Gen can be lots of fun for KBBQ! Try getting the banchan along with your meal next time! Love all the picked, fermented stuff with all the delicious, but sometimes fatty, food! The husband and I had no idea what we were doing the first time we went to Gen (in Cerritos) either--but watching others (and occasionally asking the waitstaff) will quickly loop you in. One of our favorites to get is the spicy samgyubsal (pork belly). One downside of grilling at the table is that you smell like you sat in front of a grill for an hour! (I'm sure that's what Sophie smelled!) But the delicious food is worth it!
