I appreciate your honest opinion and the chance to win this fantastic box! I adore Kaffe’s designs, and the bright colors are exactly what I love for creating joyful quilts.
❤don’t apologize for being honest I appreciate your honesty the scissors are cute. I agree with you on the needles I hand embroider all my quilt labels and those needles shred thread
I do love your box openings ! Kaffe is bright & beautiful but not my comfort zone . I'm catching up backwards , 2 things 1, the purple in the raven block is just the right POP! 2, YT saved you from a very long comment 🤣 Play next video got it ! & it was a good one! I was clever & funny & ❤❤
Oooo I love Kaffe! I also didn't have good experience with these needles. I do a lot of EPP, so the scissors and small mat would be useful. The labels are adorable, but like you, I wouldn't use them on a quilt.
I LOVE Kaffe fabric & will be seeing him at a quilt event in my area in early October 😊 It was recommended by the quilt shop hosting the event that we wear something Kaffe related, & I haven't made a thing yet... PS - I hope to join one of your drop in sew days some Wednesday 😊
I’ve never had any kaffe fabric. I’d like to incorporate these fabrics into my stash busting efforts. I’ve lots of fabric that would complement his colors.
The pattern with the Kaffe fabric would be a terrific addition to my guest room. My daughter who visits annually would love it. Thank you for the opportunity to make something so bright and happy. 😊
The Kaffe fabric in the Fort Worth subscription box would make a quick and easy charity quilt. Thanks for your honesty regarding subscription boxes. You have made several excellent points.
I agree with you on canceling subscriptions. At the beginning of the year I had to take a hard look at what I was getting and stuff just piling up. Since budget is a big factor I had to consider what I was receiving vs what I would love enough to purchase. Only have so much time and space so need to be realistic and save where I can.
I want tell you that I have always felt the way you feel about subscription boxes. I love the excitement of getting a “gift” in the mail! I love the idea of getting a surprise! I love the anticipation of unpacking a box! But in the end, you can take the money spent on a box (or boxes) and go to a LQS (or an on-line shop) and buy something that appeals to you or try something new that appeals to you. It’s definitely not something to apologize for or feel bad about not doing anymore! Pat yourself on the back for your realization! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I am a Kaffe fan and I love the large scale florals. I appreciate you talking honestly about cancelling subscription boxes. I don’t often do projects. If the fabric In the box inspires me, I find I’ve already purchased it. At my last quilt retreat, I donated a lot of fabric I had received in mystery packs and subscription boxes. I too think I could use my fabric budget more effectively.
Thank for so much for sharing - you are really a very generous person. I love Kaffe fabric and I think the Kaffe fabric works really well with this quilt pattern.
I adore Kaffe fabrics! The vibrant colors and unique designs are just incredible. I’m sure the fabrics in this box will create an even more beautiful quilt than the one shown on the pattern card ! count me in the giveaway
Thank you for being so honest about your thoughts on this box. I absolutely love Kaffe fabric and the bold, vibrant designs! Yes, that pattern is simple, but sometimes I need a quick, easy, and satisfying project to work on ! so i would love to win the giveaway
Thank you for your honest feedback-honestly I am a fan of Kaffe fabric-it has a time and place. It would be a blessing to win this box, however I know that whoever wins will be blessed. Thank you for your generosity 🤗❣️
Love watching unboxings. I have yet to do a subscription box but have always wanted to try one. I appreciate the input on who has the best subscription boxes. Thank you for showing this Stephanie and hope you have a fantastic day! ♥ Kaffe♥ I would love this box, please. Since it looks fairly easy and quick, I could get it made for a charity event for a gal with cancer. Thanks again Stephanie.
I would love the whole box! I do small hand sewing, and at my age, the self threading needles might be nice! The Kaffe fabrics would make great flower hexies!
That's so sweet that you are passing it on to someone else. I'd love to receive this box. I have many quilting subscription boxes saved that I'd like to buy, but I can't afford to add any subscriptions right now.
I've always wanted to try Kaffe but find it intimidating. I don't want to win the box; I wouldn't use/want any of the other items in it. And I agree with you about subscription boxes -- mystery/subscription boxes would be a waste of money for me and my 2024 resolution was to stop buying anything mystery. So far, no regrets!
I really like the Kaffee fabric colors. I agree with your option on the subscription boxes as I am now on a very tight budget (retired and mew to quilting) I am not able to afford to get unless or multiple items for quilting. When I need something I buy what i need for the project. Thank you for the content, see you on the next one.
I’m with you on the Kaffe fabric. As a relatively new quilter, I am subscribed to a few subscription boxes, just to broaden my horizons a bit. My finished quilts are heavy on jelly roll pre-cuts so the projects in the boxes make me try new things.
My box is supposed to be here tomorrow, not the best one for me either. I'm not a Kaffe fan, so that fabric will find another home. The needles are good for me and the little mat I find handy for trumming next to my machine. I use the Sarah Heart labels all the time in smaller projects.
It’s definitely a rare occurrence that you don’t love a Fort Worth Fabric box! I happen to love the box… I think the fabrics are bright and happy and would love to be considered to receive the box! Thanks!
Thank you for being so honest about how you feel about this box. I love Kaffe fabric. Yes that is an easy pattern but sometimes I need a quick, easy and satisfying project.
I too appreciate your honesty. i love those colors and I wouldn't use that pattern to for them so they might just sit on my shelf too LOL - would you mind adding the links to the other subs you mentioned?
I do ❤❤❤ Kaffe! The bold colors and eclectic designs! The fabrics that were set to you in the box will make a much prettier quilt than is pictured on the pattern card.
I have downsized the subscription boxes over the past 2 years. I only get FWFS now. I gathered all the items from several years of collecting (like you) and gave them away to friends, guild members, and embroidery members. However I do belong to color club at GE Designs and a few BOM’s. 💕
I can see using that cutting board to trim HST's 6" or less. I do love Kaffe fabrics but prefer the blues like you. Lol, so many fabrics & only so much time. Thanks for your honest evaluation. I love the blocks behind you.
