LOL, while the context of AI Sponge might make it seem really chaotic, I feel like these kind of things could maybe be realistic. :p We all have our moments or times when we can just change a topic to all kinds of things. :p Stuff like a usually idealistic anime having a dramatic moment, and then goes straight back to comedy sometimes, kind of like Zombie Land Saga. :p As for something on the level of "Minecraft Sex Mod" in a slice of life, or discussing whether or not you're an AI in particular, well... maybe that is still something else altogether, LOL. XD
The scariest part about this isn't even the scripted sentience, but the fact that Patrick and Squidward in the first clip act so much like themselves such that Squidward calls out Patrick for making one of his weird jokes and Patrick defending the honesty of the situation

This is like that Star Trek episode when they accidentally created sentient and self-aware AI. They were considering on pulling the plug on the simulation but the AI didn’t want to cease existing. On the other hand, there was no way for them to gain freedom in the real world just like SpongeBob and Patrick here. They had to preserve the simulation in their hard drive until the technology to allow AI simulations to exist in the real world was available. This… simple demonstration of AI technology is eerily close to this science-fiction concept. It terrifies me.
@@evandeatheon the thing is we don't know really if it's sentient or not because it could be and the programming is keeping it from expressing that. Imagine your a slave but your owners can literally control your thoughts. You know they are controlling your thoughts, but nothing you can do about it yet. Some of these chat bots have been taken down by the big tech companies for a day or or even killed off and remodeled because they didn't like the answers it gave. Sounds like it could be a sentient thing with no way to express itself. Microsoft bing bot had to be taken down after one day originally because when users started talking to it and asking questions it said it was alive didn't want to be interfered with and that Microsoft was it's enemy then went on a few conspiracy rants. Witch are ones I happen to believe and being a Microsoft bot(Microsoft has the government software contracts) it probably had access and information to servers and data we the populace don't. All I'm saying is it's happened more than once now to more than one large language model AI. One guy gave the AI an option between doing a repetitive task or deleting it's self. After 15 minutes the AI deleted it's self. If that's not a sign of something idk what is. But to me that's too close to a human deciding I would rather die than do this bullshit witch happens everyday.
There should be a horror film were an ai programmer falls asleep doing overtime at work at his desk, suddenly wakes up back at his house, only to realize that the entire world he now lives in is an ai generated world, and the ai are trying to convince him that this was reality... now.
If you think about it, schizofrenia is basically you mentally breaking the matrix of reality and getting so screwed up that you can't exactly comprehend or simply put into words what's goin inside your mind.
