@@gamrwolf9655 i have both the old version of the everdrive and the 340 in 1. Not much of a difference in either. Quality of everdrive is better but if you have a good 340 in 1 you should be good.

Not really. The biggest limitation was the 16 MB (then 32, then 64) of a N64 cartridge vs the 700 MB of a CD. Also, most games used internal storage inside the cartridge for save data whereas PS games had to use a Memory Card, but that also allowed them to use multiple discs for a single game

Because gameboy cartridges had a small amount of mb alloted to it. While the everdrive has the space of the whole sd card. A whole movie in 64mb is impossible, especially if you want to be able to actually see something

Reminder that the entire Shrek movies are on GBA carts. Choppy, but it's-a there.

Didn't the GBA and DS cartridges had a limit of 4mb?

What’s the maximum throughout on the Everdrive? Like what if you had a lossless capture of an emulator playing an N64 game (or any 240p native video source)?

Either scale it or it could probably just play it. It either scales to viewpoint, is larger than display so much gets cut out or so. As long as you have software that can decode, it should play. I guess what I am going for is like trying to watch 4k footage on an ipod or itouch. What's the point outside of it can.
