Fun Fact: There was actually supposed to be another stage to the boss fight where you fight the robotic Spongebob that had the Anchor-Arms. It was even shown for a quick second in the trailer. However, don't know why, it ended up being scrapped in the final product.
when I was a kid I pretty much broke my ps2 when I got to the full ending.... the worst thing about it is that I had to collect every fucking sock just to proceed to the full ending which I all I got for all my hard work was the fucking spongebob squarepants song that I heard almost 100 times! T_T
UPDATE: Sadly, I couldn't find a SINGLE PS2 copy of BFBB, but luckily there was ONE PS2 copy of the movie game. I was mad cause I saw XBOX copies of BFBB! 😤😤😤😤😤 But it's ok, my movie game copy is Greatest Hit's. 😊

Wanna know what's funny? When Spongebot screams Kah-Rah-Tae and before it flies toward you, you can just jump jump on his nose and stand there with no danger whatsoever. What I do is leave the nose light for last and when he screams, I jump on it and Bubble smash-ground pound it

Giant robot spongebob is my most favorite robot boss. Wish I had him in real life. Although I will have to be extremely careful not to destroy anything xD.

i like the pc versions ending better cause in that ending, patrick plays with the obey switch and accidentally pulls it off and it makes the robots go into sleep mode and spongebob says that the battle is finally over, so that was a better ending for me
chimanruler15 i commented at the end of another person's gameplay of battle for bikini bottom why i think the pc version was better and someone said that the pc version sucked because that version was like an arcade game. i mean yeah, there are some downs about the pc version, like the battle for bikini bottom is hardly much of a battle for bikini bottom and one of the robots are nice enough to let your friends go free if you answer trivia questions about them correctly when the robots are suppose to be evil, so those are the only downs. the ups are that you dont have to collect golden spatulas or shiny objects to advance, or collect socks to give to patrick for golden spatulas when he doesnt even where socks or shoes and all the robots are dead in the ending cutscene.
chimanruler15 For the first ending, it was great because it was meant to inspire players to keep going and to find all of the golden spatulas, because most people wouldn't 100% a game before beating it. But the second ending was lackluster. After finding all of the socks, obtaining all of the spatulas, and giving enough shiny objects to that cheapskate, you'd expect something grand, something that'd repeatedly remind you of your victory without being annoying, and that everything's solved. But instead we got the main theme, and a lackluster animation. It did fit, but it could have been a lot better, mostly if it gave us a hint or just plain told us that all the robots were destroyed. Though it's redeemed in the movie game where there are destroyed robots scattered around certain areas. As for the PC game ending, it's a good ending but if it were in the console games it wouldn't have made any sense whatsoever, because there would still be robots roaming around, and the only way to fix that would have been to remove every robot, and removing them would have made the after-game bland and boring. Still, it wouldn't have changed that the game was amazing.
collecting the socks was easy, now try collecting over 50,000 shiny objects for mr krabs, while spending almost all of them collecting other golden spatulas by opening the oysters.
