So, the original Battle for Bikini Bottom was one of my favorite games in my childhood. However, over time it was revealed that there were a lot of glitches with that game that could be taken advantage of. I wanted to see how much I could break the final battle in the remaster. While some things aren't shown, this video gives you a pretty good idea of how much you can do to the phases of these fights, given enough experimentation. But hey, some call it glitches, I call it style. Phase 1 has a LOT of exploitation you can do with it. For starters, Robot Plankton is way too idle to protect Robot Spongebob from harm if you fall below. He will often move directly in front of you, allowing for instant cruise bubbles. After the delay ends, immediately swing the bubble blower at him for another stun, then Cruise Bubble a hand. Repeat this process if you desire for the other hand. Additionally, due to the buffs to Spongebob in the remaster, the upward attack (forgot the name) can actually collide with Robot Spongebob's nose when he is stunned and looking down. Now would be a good time to discuss Robot Plankton's subtle changes as well. His hurtbox and where he moves are like stars aligned, because his AI assumes you will go on to a platform when you use a trampoline, and thus get close to them. This means you can go above him and ground pound, and his head is actually solid terrain. Because Spongebob has less delay on the ground pound, you can immediately jump off and toward Robot Spongebob when he gets close and winds up for the karate chop, then use the bubble blower to strike his sides. Finally, the most hilarious part: They actually fixed a couple bugs from the original: the bubble bowl cannot break the green lights on Robot Spongebob, and you can no longer double-jump to land on his nose (it's not terrain now). Unfortunately for them, they forgot to make his mouth push you out when it's open, so you can phase inside of Robot Spongebob and do several exploits. One trick is that you can spam the nuke inside his mouth, and it will be lagless at the end because you technically hit a wall. You want to spam this because of an oversight from the developers: you may not be able to Cruise Bubble in the air, but if you Cruise Bubble and then become airborne, it doesn't cancel. So you will fall out of his mouth when the KAH-RAH-TAE attack ends, but Robot Plankton will be too slow in stopping your guided missile from attacking Robot Spongebob yet again (though he may body-block the top right side). The other trick is that the elbows (?) of the Robot Spongebob are also terrain, so you can jump from the mouth to them, then uppercut the sides of the Robot Spongebob again. You can also potentially jump out of the mouth and upper cut the top-left and top-right sides, but I only managed to do this once, so it's heavily precise. The second phase is primarily breakable due to the checkpoint system they added, which I really don't agree with due to how easy the battle is already. For the first part, get rid of the machines, and then immediately Cruise Bubble the fuse. Then, fall to make you spawn at your new checkpoint: the fuse. You can't Cruise Bubble the second fuse, because it's immune to everything except the uppercut, but you can do a humorous Bubble Bowl down to the fourth part of the area and hit the machines there, causing Robot Plankton to spawn in where you are. For the third area, you can skip him entirely by moving to the top of the roll platform. Then, do jump, attack, jump, attack. Then hop on to the machine, and right as it is going to explode, uppercut. Then, jump, attack, jump, attack again to barely get over the gap. Once you get to the bottom, you're good to just break the fuse and move on. At this point, Robot Plankton spawns too close to the platforms, so you can just jump, attack, jump back, and repeat this to win, though I end up messing around toward the end.There's also a bug where if you fall on to the platform in the third area rather than making the gap, it puts you back at the first checkpoint, but the terrain for part 2 remains elevated for you. I'm not sure why it puts you back at checkpoint 1 rather than checkpoint 2, but oh well. I would say most of the fun gamebreaking stuff comes from phase 1, as this was all I could find for phase 2. Anyways, enjoy the dismantling of Robot Spongebob! Also, don't use this video as an excuse to say the game is bad or what have you. This remaster is incredibly faithful to the original, with many quality of life improvements across the board for pretty much every character. This is a definitively good game, especially for its $30 price tag. While there are some oversights in some areas, frankly a game feels at its best when you use all of the mechanics to your advantage to make something great happen. Not only that, but Spongebob can do trickshots with the Bubble Bowl due to the new physics engine. 10/10 GOTY.

Where you clipped into a debug zone in the original and ended the fight immediately? I think they patched it out, since the speedrunners don't use it in their taxi wrongwarp runs.
