LCP was so fucking fun, even when I didn’t have my friends over, playing through the story mode over and over was genuinely fun. And free play was awesome because I just kept making a playlist of my favorite mini games. My favorite being the concert, which was the reason why I ONLY played SpongeBob. Because his guitar solo went so fucking hard

Fun Fact: Believe it or not, Machine Meltdown has a soundtrack. You probably won’t hear it due to Karen, the machines and the voice lines though. That segment perfectly summed it up and it only could’ve been better if all the voice lines were layered on top of each other for earrape😂

13:28 you can actually order the CPU to go certain pegs by holding the control stick pointed at the desired peg. When you see a character’s picture above a certain peg, it means they’re ordered for that peg. You can easily change which peg you want them ordered to as well, even mid-swing.

I never had any friends to play this game with as a kid (Well, I /did/ but I only had one controller 💀) but playing with the CPUs was always good enough for me. Much like the other Spongebob THQ games the soundtrack is easily it's best feature. So many tracks from this are in my music playlist. Charlie Brissette and Hamilton Altstatt made some real fire. Speaking of music, I never had (or more likely don't remember) any timing issues on Rock Bottom with my PS2 copy as a kid. Though I did notice that issue when I... *ahem*... emulated it onto my PC 9.9

I also mostly played Lights, Camera, Pants with CPUs! I definitely took for granted how surprisingly decent the A.I. was for a licensed kids game. As for the Rock Bottom timing issue, I've never encountered the problem on the Xbox version, so it might just be a GCN version issue (I used the GCN game for this vid)

Fun fact: you know flippin' out has a silly mechanic if the player catches all the krabby patties you get 100 points for perfect timing of catching.

Beats me isn't that hard really, it's just a matter of rythm, tempo and concentration. One tip: always try to play the beat, even if you're not actually playing that round, because that'll help you to keep on the tempo

Mannnnn I love this game so gawdam much. Still play it after all these years of owning it. The gameplay freedom and story structure are what make this game so addicting to play. The mini games are a banger to play as well. I can safely say that my opinions on all the games pretty much line up perfectly with yours. I play the GCN version so unfortunately I have to suffer with Rock Bottom and Beat's Me's piss poor input window problem. But I've been playing for decades so I've gotten used to it by now. Haha

I hear that the issue you were having on the Rock Bottom level was a GameCube problem. I however never had that problem but I had the Ps2 version. Which also had bonus content.

I wish THQ Nordic would give us a Nickelodeon crossover party game. Something that's strange to me was how back in 2018 they were saying they were going to release old & new Nick games when all they've been doing is releasing Spongebob games. Gamemill Entertainment has been doing a lot of Nick games. We get a new Nickelodeon game from them every year lol. It seems like THQ Nordic isn't really all that interested in the Nickelodeon ips except for Spongebob.

I never had input issues with Rock Bottom or Beats Me, and I've played the Xbox and PS2 versions. Never played the GameCube version but those mini games never caused any lag for me

I never encountered the issue on the Xbox version I had as a kid, so it's likely just a GameCube version thing. I'd probably bump Rock Bottom up to S tier if I were to make this list today
