It’s mostly just SpongeBob fighting the monsters and the only ones that actually include the bosses doing action only is the bc pearl and the jelly Squidward :(

The game is fun but the bosses were the disappointing parts. The only half of these felt like actual battles, which were Sandy, Pom Pom, Glovey Glove and Kassandra. Plus, the final boss was underwhelming. It felt more like a simple boss to showcase the Reef Blower, which was already done by Glovey's battle and that felt more of a battle. The others were just regular platforming stages that are just boss-themed obstacle courses.

Yeah. I mean Tom Kenny has been doing it for many years.

Tom Kenny probably can't keep up with the high pitch much anymore due to aging. He's been doing SpongeBob for, like, at least 2 decades (and he is 60 years old). Similarly to how Mario's voice in newer Mario games is not as high pitched and loud as it used to be, because of Charles Martinet aging.
