I really do like the fact that although the characters are human their “imagination” of each other are their actual cartoon forms, it’s really fitting to me for some reason.

I was confused why sponge Bob never finished "were best friends and this is the friend dance".

Love all the episode references, even stuff from the movie like the "manly mustaches". The shirts from Battle of Bikini Bottom, their "couple" costumes in Rock a bye Bivalve, their holiday hangouts in A Fresh Breath of Squidward, even the "handshake" glare from Valentines Day and their walkie talkies from Hall Monitor. It really hits you how much these two have been through together and really are best friends forever. The musical gets props for writing all this, but props to you too for making it feel a little bit more creative and touching!

oh my god! i haven't gotten to see any SpongeBob musical animatics since it was on Broadway, and now a bunch are resurfacing because of the TV special, and it's really great that so many people are getting to see this amazing musical and all of the art it's fans make

The Sponge bob musical gave us some of the best friendship canon between Sponge bob and Patrick that we didn’t know we needed.

The sheer amount of references from the cartoon shoved into the montages of Spongebob and Patrick hanging out brings me so much joy it makes this song from the musical even better!

I watch this animatic almost daily when I feel really bad and it cheers me up.

This song makes me unreasonably happy because I grew up with Spongebob and this musical really made their friendship sweet.

When I first saw this, I saw it with my best friend. We saw it on a stage preformed by a couple of high schoolers (also they did a GREAT job) and that was our favorite song out of all of the songs. A week or two later he moved, and I listen to this just to remember.
