However there’s nothing wrong with the current animation, it’s different, sure (quite inevitable when it’s been on air for over 20 years) but it’s brilliant.

We need a time traveler to put this clip into the past and make a trip out of it, they'd need to make sure the file format would work on those older computers though but it could be done if backwards time travel gets figured out. When you put an HD video into a computer from that time it crashes the device.

Yeah, I could totally see this being edited to look like it's taking place somewhere else, or otherwise going the simple route of endlessly looping the Shark gang leader looking back and fourth between The Softie Spittoon and Weenie Hut Jr.'s.

I'll always feel differently towards the OG seasons, but if the new seasons did this, I'd be the biggest fan of it.

That's true. It doesn't help that Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show is perceived as a giant middle finger to older fans. Combine that with the Super Bowl Incident, the expressive animation style and you have a situation where people are heavily divided on new SpongeBob.

Of course it’s canon. Hillenburg said that any events before or after the first movie, happened before the first movie. He wanted the first movie to be the finale of the entire series. He was also aware of the spin-offs before he passed. A company wouldn’t immediately release production news for things he specifically didn’t want, like come on. It wasn’t a middle finger to anyone, it was simply an expansion of the SpongeBob universe.

it's kind of like how in music, every possile combination of chords and melodies have seemingly been already used before, so newer music will have a harder time being unique than music before them. That's basically the dilemma Spongebob faces now.

Season 11 had many of those. Season 13 didn't have any, because I don't think an episode like Upturn Girls would count, but I don't think it needs episodes like those (but yes, I would like to see more episodes with great messages too).

The last two times Alpha Jay Show made a video on season 13 (both of them had been negative), I made a comment saying "I actually liked this episode..." because so far Lockdown for Love is the only episode I actually disliked from the season. At least I can agree with him for once (at least when he's not comparing it to the rest of the season).

i'm too lazy to check what episodes he wrote but meh he seems a hit or miss writer like everybody who writes for this show since it's start,just like writers like zeus carvar(idk i wrote it correctly)and casey alexander made good episodes in season 6-8 and Aaron springer went to write some of the best and worst episodes of the show ar the same time,if you want to change the show now that we're at this point,you will need way more than 1 guy.

I do agree that less is more. I wonder if they do this to get the attention of children who now have user generated content (youtube, titktok, instagram), more games, every show on demand. It's definitely a strategy but it comes at the expense of making older audiences disconnected with it.

Imo the episodes of season 13 aren't just that and have actually clever jokes, creative plots and good characters. Salty Sponge was season 13 at its best though.

I have an episode idea spongebob snaps:spongebob was waiting to do the order happily whistling the ending themes song squidward says 2 krabby pattys medium sized drink and medium sized fries and then says also stop whistling because its annoying but spongebob says that he just likes whistling and then squidward says whatever then waits for the next customer spongebob makes the pattys the normal way with a face like this emoji😐 spongebob says to his self what is wrong with squidward he gives squidward the order and then goes to Mr krabs office to get a raise he says Mr krabs can I please have a raise Mr krabs says sorry me boy but unfortunately I can't yet now me boy can you get back to work? Spongebob says in a ok Mr krabs...squidward comes out of the window that's in the kitchen and says spongebob! I waited here SO LONG! WHY DID YOU TAKE SO LONG! Spongebob says sorry squidward I asked Mr krabs for a raise and he said-squidward says whatever fill this order now! Spongebob gets abit irritated and at closing time squidward saying you know maybe you should do stuff at closing time and not at other useless times except I do this to get payed and pay taxes and stuff now your better do better next time spongey spongebob walks home and accidentally walks into a person walking buy and he says watch where your going bub people are walking here spongebob says sorry sir...in a annoyed voice the guy says whatever... it reminds him of what squidward said and walks home abit more annoyed and only has 45%of his sanity left sandy comes out of nowhere and karate chops him spongebob falls over and says I don't have time for this sandy and shoves her out of the way with only 25%sanity left spongebob opens his houses door and decides to watch mermaid man and barnacle boy to calm himself down but the TV shuts off for no reason and spongebob then loses it and runs out of the house absolutely annoyed by it and somebody else was walking the other way and he throws the person out of the way and then shouts CANT ANYBODY BE NORMAL FOR ONCE a jellyfish passes by the buzzing noises sounded calm to him and it calms him down abit spongebob turns the other way around and walks home in abit of a calm way not happy calm.spongebob then yet again enters his house and trys to watch the TV again and it finally works and he becomes happy again the end (this is probably very lazy writing but I tried to use an emotion spongebob usually never uses.being mad hope you enjoyed because my fingers hurt

@@TheAlphaJayShow I can say that about the Simpsons, Family Guy, Phineas and Ferb, and Fairly Odd Parents. If someone is a casual fan and not hard core you might not know the new ones as well. All Simpsons fans know about Marge vs. The Monorail or Maude Flanders dying but a later one might be more obscure. Also Cuphead Show and Owl House are new. And you didn't compare SpongeBob to other long runners.

@@icecreamhero2375 Imo Krusty Slammer is great and Broken Alarm is a high good. They're very enjoyable episodes and they aren't even in my top 5 of season 12 (I think Krusty Slammer was like my top 9 of the season, and as I said, it's a great episode).
