Sponsorship Program Drikung Kagyu Monastery Tso Pema and the daily life of the young little monks 

Many of the monks at Wogmin Thubten Shedrup Ling Monastery - Drikung Kagyu Monastery in Tso Pema - Rewalsar - INDIA, come from Nepal and small, rural villages where families are very poor and unschooled. Many of this children are orphans and were street boys.
Coming to the monastery provides a unique opportunity for these monks to receive an education in modern subjects besides their traditional religious training.
When the monks enter the monastery, we take full responsibility for their welfare, education, and health. This enables them to focus completely on their studies and to practice the holy Buddha Dharma.

One way is to sponsor a little monk.
By pledging 25 Euro a month (or any amount you can afford), you will help provide the monks with proper nutrition, medical care, and education. The money will go into a general fund to support all the monks, and you will be given a picture and information about your monk friend with whom you can correspond. If he is too young to write to you, the monastery will provide you with updates on his life and progress.
You can also make a onetime, occasional, or yearly donation, and indicate by email that you are donating toward littler Monks Sponsorship.
These donations have been paramount in helping us provide the best for our precious little monks.
There you can inform us of your wishes in the contact section and click on the donate button to set up a recurring monthly payment or make a manual payment monthly, or for the year. We will then send you an email with a photo and basic information about your mini monk and sponsorship. We welcome you to our family!
