While waiting for my train back to Germany I saw that piano at Paris Gare de L'Est, (which reminded me of the videos of Brendan Kavanagh) and decided to play a little fast funky boogie improvisation on it! Hope you like it :)

What joy! I hope more people are inspired to play music like Luca whatever our skill levels may be - he saw the piano and went for it. Seeing the gentleman standing behind Luca intently listening and enjoying the moment was great. Maybe listening to Luca play is like stopping to smell the roses - taking the time to slow down and enjoy life and all the beauty we can share with one another. I am hopeful more dancers will do the same. Dancing or singing in a grocery store aisles is fun too - especially when other shoppers join in. In fact, it is a lot like leaving these comments. We get to hear Luca's video and interact with each other. Thank you EVERYONE here. Cheers.

Ich liebe Klaviermusik! Besonders Boogie Woogie. Ich hab mir mal die linke Hand von Albert Ammons Boogie Woogie Stomp aufm Klavier beigebracht. Aber weiter bin ich nie gekommen. Und naja, ich hab zwei Jahre Schlagzeug-Unterricht genommen bei Thomas Fahrer, der in den 90ern lange Zeit mit Nico Brina musiziert hat. Eigentlich bin ich damals durch Nico Brina zum Boogie Woogie gekommen. Eine Maschine hinter dem Piano!!! Auch heute noch. Boogie ist einfach so die ultimative Gute Laune-Musik! Und hat Dampf und groovt wie die Sau! Da bleibt kein Bein still bei dem Sound! Ich hör extrem gerne die alten Klassiker von Pete Johnson, Meade Lux Lewis, Albert Ammons und Amos Milburn. Gänsehaut-Musik!!!
