Spontaneous Road Trip to Canada | Vancouver at Christmastime

yes, I'm from Canada too and thank you for showing off Vancouver in a charming way and glad you were excited about seeing Vancouver, and yes, Canada is an international country people from all over the world live here. Glad you posted.

I went on a solo trip to Vancouver last June, and had the best time too! I loved the drive up to Whistler, stopping by on the way to Squamish was great, it's a really cute little town, lots of little shops and cafés! Steveston is also a must, just south of Richmond. If you watched the TV show Once Upon a Time, it's where they set up the stage for the town of Storybrooke! It's a cute little fishing village, lots of little shops and restaurants and a few nice waterfront promenades and parks. Banff and Lake Louise I visited on a trip to Calgary, the drive alone across the Rockies is worth it! Those icy blue water creeks, it's just wonderful in the spring! I mean all of Canada is awesome all year long! I'm near Montreal, in the St-Lawrence Valley, and it's a real dream, it's like winter wonderland right now, sights for days!!! Sometimes I wish I was a youtuber just so I could share those views with the world! Oh well, maybe in 2020, in the meantime my shitty Insta will have to do...! lol WIshing you happy holidays and all, may 2020 be full of open-hearted discoveries and fun adventures!

Banff and Jasper are amazing. We went in the summer and loved it. Don’t miss Yoho and Kootenay if you go because they are so close, too!

The Capilano suspension bridge was so nice especially at night when the christmas lights are visible. Was just there on the 23rd

GO TO WHISTLER IN THE SUMMER!! I can't say it loud enough. It's so much better than the winter, in my opinion. Less pretentious people and such a chill vibe. There's so much to do as well. Some of my favourites are: kayaking, white water rafting, renting electric bikes, hiking, Peak 2 Peak gondola, ziplining, etc.

I live in Seattle too and I want to get up to Banff this summer! I've never been, but it seems like such a great escape!

Loved seeing Canada at Christmastime! I went last September and fell in love (I vlogged everything too - including the Capilano Suspension Bridge!). I also did a tour up to Whistler, Banff and Jasper and I cannot recommend it enough. I hope you get to go soon as your footage will be so beautiful!

Omg Capilano Suspension Bridge is honestly amazing during the Christmas session! I absolutely love it! Next time you do a mini trip to Vancouver during the summer, you should totally explore Garibaldi Lake! An amazing hike and the end result is stunning!

Love the glasses. My family is in Vancouver but I live in Australia. It’s so easy to get my husband to come with me for endless cups of tea with my sisters and my mother and visit many relatives every 2 years because we always go to Whistler, summer or winter. BUT we haven’t been to Capilano to see the lights. COVID willing, we will this year. Love your videos.

Van Duden gardens in Vancouver at night at Christmas is worth seeing as well! Right by the suspension bridge is Edgemont Village which is worth a visit as well like 5 mins away! You should also look into visiting an island like Salt Spring (very sleep but they have an art gallery tour you do yourself where you drive around the island) or go to Tofino (surfer town so cute with great shops and the beaches are cool to walk on) on Vancouver island for a trip! Both Would be a 2-3 day trip though.

Love Vancouver. I went up there once in winter from Seattle with a friend in his old VW bus that had no working heater. Coldest I’ve ever been in my life. Literally thought I was going to freeze to death. 😆 My bones shudder just thinking about it.

I live here but have never been because it is so expensive!
