After watching this vlog, im changing my usual base Bangkok hotel in Asok to the Picnic Hotel. Victory monument is in the same BTS line anyways and I like the park next to the hotel seems nice and quiet. It has excellent ratings in tripadvisor too

13:00 Na try namin yang Hotel Tranz ok din mas mahal vs Picnic Hotel nasa P2400 a night pero ganda ng location e Phaya Thai station pag baba mo yan na at may direct access ka na agad papuntang airport and the BTS Phaya Thai station. We also tried Let's Relax beside the hotel and ok din medyo pricey pero maganda naman ang service. We stayed there Dec 20-24 last year 2022. Mas cooler ang BKK around that time, mainit pa din pero mas tolerable.
