For the fire pit, maybe some randomly placed bits of yellow and orange tissue paper cut in small triangles would hide the lights and look like embers

These are really good!

For the firepit, I would use expanding spray foam insulation. I made one that way last year and it came out really good. I got bowl that was about the size I wanted to make my firepit. I put plastic wrap over the bowl and sprayed the foam insulation on top. Once it dried, I took the plastic wrap off. Since it's essentially like an upside down bowl, i put my lights under it...I used battery operated red lights with a timer. I painted the top of the foam imsulation with black and red like burning coals would look. I put a cauldron on top of it....but you could glue your skulls and bones to it. There are youtube videos where people make large versions of the firepit/burning coals. I just took their method and made a much smaller version.

Your 1st DIY reminds me of an old fashioned Stockade. You could use a full sized skeleton and make it standing in the Stockade. Love them all.

When using your black markers clean the tip occasionally when you’re using it to get the residue off. If you don’t the residue dries on the nib and you can’t use them anymore 😏

The last craft was my favorite and looked pretty easy to do. I too love those napkins! So your Hobby Lobby sells Halloween stuff? My local Hobby Lobby does not. I know that in the past they did. When i mentioned it to one of the sales associates she said before Covid we did but not anymore and never will. But she was so very rude when she said it. I guess is anti-Halloween....lol. not this ol' gal! 🎃🎃

Check with your school near you or supply place like Lowe’s they a lot of the time have wood pallets that they just trash and it goes to the landfill

Try a tapered candle cause their longer maybe that would work

Our Hobby Lobby hasn’t carried Halloween for a few years now

Incidentally, Hobby Lobby stopped carrying "Halloween" a few years back. They still do "Fall", but no "Halloween".

Hobby Lobby doesn’t have Halloween items because they are very religious and don’t believe in it.

Don’t shop hobby lobby not a good company, very closed minded, the cutesy stuff versus the dark it’s because they’re heavy based Christian owners, company. Just do a search online about news they have treated women very badly again it’s not worth it for me to buy from companies like that like you said Michaels is better anyway and then there’s also watching you because you make DIY and that’s even better.
