I’m very much looking forward to playing this game, have had it Wishlisted since it was announced months ago. I like the classic RPG element where you start with a nice new car at the beginning to give you a taste of what a fully upgraded car will be like, then, of course, they take that away from you and you start from scratch with a junker, but the joy is rebuilding it, repairing it, modifying it to be your own custom Wonder Wagon. I love the concept of the garage as your safe zone home, where you come back from your scavenging missions, and trying to unravel the mystery of what happened to this place. Your wheel kept coming off because your car is trash right now, get out there and scavenge better parts and build it up to a glorious beast of a wagon. 😂🙏💚

Been interested in this one since it was presented, can't remember where, and this preview didn't disappoint, it looks really cool! On paper the concept sounds really weird but seems like they made it work. The spooky supernatural stuff feels Control-y but it also reminded me of Subnautica, with the mix of survival-collect-craft while exploring a weird environment to try to solve the mystery, except in a different setting, which looks really good too btw :)

With so much glowy radioactive matter, I feel like the epilogue would be "you die slowly of radiation poisoning in the next few weeks".

1:25:22 The UI (especially the crafting) reminded me a whole lot of Alien Isolation, insofar that I was shocked that they weren't made by the same people, as far as I could tell. Incidentally I played Alien Isolation after seeing people repeatedly request a LP in the comments here, so I'm glad they almost got their wish?

A lot more involved and complex than I assumed at first glance. I thought it was going to just be a driving game like *Beware.* A kind of simple "horror road trip", but then a ton of looting, crafting and characters just enters the picture at the garage. (I really like Oppy though.) The vehicle repairs are almost bordering on overly complex, but overall I'm interested to see how well this game holds itself together and playable with so many elements to juggle. Isn't going to be much of a driving game if one has to go out to scavenge and craft every 100 metres on the road. Isn't going to be a _really_ scary horror game either so long as Oppy and the rest are there to ease the isolation and provide comedy. But then, maybe horror isn't what the game's going for. 🤔

You have a cute scream, haha. If this can surpass Road of the Dead as the best driving game, then I'll be impressed.

The second youtuber to complain this game UI. Am I just that weird that I actually found it very intuitive (from what i've seen in videos), and visually pleasing? * While there might be a lot of info on the screen, it's all visually separated. * "Robotic" visual style means that there are overall less "colors"/high-detail UI elements, so it's even easier to focus. * Monospace fonts - I love that! * A lot of keybind hints. * Tetris-like inventory system with manual rearraging - much better than the list ones! You don't just press a key and an item goes into a list of 100s of other items that looks the same in the list - all items got different sizes and shapes, and by manually rearraging stuff, you actually memorize where things are! And you can rotate items, btw. * And you can pick every item in your hands, so you don't have that "there is an first aid kit right in front of me, but I can''t use it because my pockets are full" problem! As long as you got free hands, you can always pick up stuff, and if you don't - you can just temporary put things on the ground/table (seen that on other LPs of this game), wich is extremly intuitive, since this is how real life works! Why is my dream UI is also the one everyone complaining about? Maybe it's because I've develop a habbit to always assume that the things I would like to have are actually there, and to delliberatly look at them, instead of waiting until I found out by accident or the game is going to tell me? That's why i've noticed that you can pick items by hand even when you don't have an inventory space, even while looting a container, that you can actually rotate items, that "borders" in the inventory actually matter (it's just simillar to Tarkov, and I like that), or just how keyboard-friendly this ui is (QE/AD/WS navigation in menu, hotkeys for everything). P.S Are pictures in datalogs are the one you take, when you scan the second time? That "photo" checkbox - looks like it means that YOU taken the photo of the thing. Thats a cool mechanic. Although it appears that this photos aren't centered for some reason.

Dialogues not showing over any interactive screens is a bad choice for a game with that much background chatter
