Mad Magyar yes I enjoy the car too much not to drive it a few times a week lol.. plus I don’t even plan on selling so sho cares what the miles is.. lol
Your car looks so good!! I bought a 2019 Sonic Gray Pearl Type R exactly a year ago! I have had some health problems so I haven’t been able to drive it a ton!! I have 2,800 miles on it!! I have kept mine 100% stock as far as performance mods!! I bought 18” Enkei Ts-v wheels and new tires with it!! It’s crazy how any rocks would be the sticky stock tires throw up! I have Rally Armor mud flaps!! Keep yo the incredible content!! I love the channel!! Stay safe and God bless!👍🏽🚙👊
Shaun Christensen thank you so much!! That SGP is beautiful!! Love that it’s the rare color!! Sorry to hear about your health please be safe! Hope you get better soon so you can enjoy that CTR!
IMO I think you are the greatest person ever! I really appreciate you.. IMO nothing is cleaner then a good classic JDM build. Hope you have a good one! 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I'dk know I'm really growing on this new type r design it not bad . I think of getting one in the future for my first Manual right now I drive 2014 is350 f sport .
I hated the original tires on the S2K... they were horrible on track and when the tarmac was wet, it was a nightmare ! keep uploading man :) p.s. your side skirts and bumper are really good looking ^^
@@ALLGTlife I have a question, i'm reading everywhere that guys are having problems with their transmissions having second gear grinding and fourth gear lockouts. Have any of these two things happened to you on your car?
Michael McMillin I haven’t had any really lockout issues.. I did get grinding into 2nd gear a few times but ever since I installed my Mugen short shifter I haven’t had a single issue.. problem solved... Plus I don’t really don’t slam gears from 1st to 2nd... the car wasn’t made to do that lol
@@ALLGTlife I hate that this seems to be an infamous issue, even people who've shifted normally said the gear grinds sometimes. I would definitely consider picking that up and getting it installed but would that void your warranty in any way?
ur mama awesome bro! Congrats! Uff you have to send us a pic or tag us on Instagram so we can see your build! Already making that SI look better with the best! Mugen!
I want to say around $200 but don't quote me, i would check with KingMotorsports. It was a very easy install just have to drill two holes in the vent/mesh. Awesome i love these pieces they add so much to the front end.
hey, do you have a video explaining your suspension ? i currently ordered the spoon springs, bump steer kit , front & rear collars ... any other parts i'm missing? also i do have the sw388s on the way 👍🏽 i'm '21 SGP
Thanks for sharing the video!! Your car looks like amazing with the new wheels and tires- something that was put together in a Gran Turismo or Forza game. You worked hard for them and you deserve every mile you're on these while you own your car- looks great!! Everytime I see a new Type R video, it brings me much closer to the day when I'll finally own one. For 8,000 miles on your Type R, have you experienced any issues with the vehicle, such as 1-2 gear or 5-6 lockout/grind issue? I've noticed that there are so many 2018's that were traded in and most of them are between 8-10k miles. I'm trying to understand why they were traded-in so soon. Other than the rubber-band tires wearing out before 10k, I don't see any other issues to be worried about. Nonetheless, I want to get this as my next car hopefully after this pandemic ends.
Mr. Tuckers thank you so much! Man do we love us some Grand Turismo and Forza!! I have not experienced any issues so far. Maybe a grind or here with 2nd gear but I hear my Mugen short shifter should help with that. Don’t give up on it! I had no clue I was getting a Type R until that very day I did! 💪🏽
@@ALLGTlife Mahalo for the feedback!! What island are you on? I haven't been back since 2016. Big Island was our last visit to see some friends. Gotta get back and get some Tex Malasadas or some ahi at Umeke's, shaved ice at Ululani's in Lahaina, Maui or some pipikalua ribs at Helena's on Oahu (Ah the memories). Driving the Type R around the islands would be a dream! Is it just me or do a lot of people like to back in their cars at the parking lots? I would imagine it's easier to get out that way.
Hot whip. I have BB FK8 and ordering these wheels because of your video. Are you on stock suspension ? Any rubbing with people in rear ? Keep up the good work
