I wait for both and Terraria 1.4 and Thrive 0.5.0 and Minecraft 1.17 (Minecraft 1.16 was shown on the wiki while 1.15 was still in development) and XBOX 2 ;) and STARBOUND 1.5 (they already have 1.4) and BFBFBFDI/BFBFB/BFB 17 and TPOT 1 and Vast Error Act 2 and Hiveswap: Act 2 and Hauntswitch: Act 1 and for VALVe to actually make Prospero and a lot of other stuff... like The Sims FIVE.
Many things I disagree with you on this list Sims 5 should not be made. They should just add alot of the features from sims 2 and 3 into sims 4 to create a modern, featurepacked, fun sims game. And also just get the fuck out from EA's evil grasp. I have no idea about the half of the games on your list so I will just talk about the ones that I do recognise. Minecrafy 1.17 is obviously going to be made soon, and after that 1.18. Xbox isn't a videogame
slendy stijn after years of playing spore i’ve made two space stage empires and both reached the center, that was my first time ever finishing spore. also both of those empires dominate the purple spice market and raid every empire with a purple spice colony. i also found a purple spice homeworld which i bought for 10 million which has a capacity for 70 purple spice and produces 1 purple spice every few seconds.
I'll never forget what spore gave me, even if the game was short and a lot more simple then it was originally intended to be, it was so so memorable, and that is an accomplishment in it's self, I remember back when I was 8 and playing it on my big brother's computer and just falling in love with it then and there. especially with the music, it was nothing I have ever heard before but it was so beautiful, as someone that grew up in a tough home, playing video games like this and the Sims will always be something from my childhood that I loved, thank you Will and everyone
8:40 my heart fell completely, I always thought I made up those tunes. I knew it had to be real, and it is! Wow. That tune always stuck home to me ever since. I always get good 2000s vibes, and very powerful nostalgic auras from this very tune. Very relaxing. It's either tune or instrumental song, but it's still great. Wow. Unbelievable.
@@thatfish3951 Yeah! A team of modders found a way to get into the code of the game, and if they try hard enough _could_ even bring the entire game back!
Yeah, dude. And with more galaxies or far better things. 20 years ago nobody believed in success of The Sims and next games in that title. Time to do the same thing with Spore, don't you think?
I have played several hundred games in my life, NONE touched my heart the way spore did, the only comparable feeling was watching carl sagans cosmos as a kid for the first time
I'm convinced people only think this is nostalgic because these days everybody is a cynical bastard and there's no whimsical hope for the future like we used to have.
When you a re a child, you just play through the game and have fun not noticing the little things that are making this game one of the best games of your childhood
This music takes me back to my best days, when I could enjoy the amazing worlds of video games and had the desire to create something myself. When my head wasn't full of problems... Thank you for such music and such games!)
When I listen to this, I imagine myself flying through space and watching countless possibilities of lifeforms, planers, stars, empires, buildings, vehicles, everything
Oh the nostalgia is so great. I remember so long ago before our computer hadn't broken I used to play so much Spore and have so much fun. And now I finally was able to get spore on my computer. I remember the crazy creature my cousin created that had hands for feet and when he reached tribal stage the Chieftain would hold the Stick by his foot instead of actual hands. Such good times.
hehe yeah, I used to play it yearsss ago on an old windows XP PC that is thankfully still working nowadays. I haven't checked in awhile (a few years) but last time the PC was still working. I still have my old and first spore on it with hundreds of my own creatures and many many planets. I love that if you play a new planet there's a chance of bumping into your own creature that you created in the past. I've created so many that I was bumping to them all the time :D back then I loved the feeling. This was truly one of the best games of my childhood!
Esta cancion me llena de alegria, DEMACIADA alegria y es simplemente hermosa, no puedo creer que haya una cancion tan perfecta para este increible juego
I remember my cousin showing me all these creatures he got online… to think that’s nearly impossible to do now really makes you feel like anything could die instantly
Finally, I found the reason why my ADHD stopped being rambunctious whenever I played this as a child. Explains so much and many of us share the same experience.
this game gave me so much as a kid when I felt the loneliest. i wonder if the composers know that they change lives by just making music from the heart. good wishes to fellow Spore players!
Thank you so much for ripping this! Would you be able to share the soundtrack with my via PM or something? I read the topic on DavoOnline and saw you wanted to avoid publicly releasing the MP3s due to legal issues.
Sharing the MP3's to you? Maybe, although I can't just give it to anyone who asks me. I'm offering a guide to teach those how to rip the music once I'm done. It's not that hard, although the alien themes and GA music requires more traditional methods and exploits. Also, the Sporepedia theme is composed by Saul Stokes, not Cliff Martinez. There's a forum somewhere where the guy confirmed it.
SporeUGSMusic Saul Stokes composed this piece? Never knew that. Did Cliff Martinez compose any music for the game? Spore is mentioned on his website, although it doesn't explicitly state which piece. Also, I'd be quite interested in ripping the music myself - currently the only copy of the soundtrack I have on my PC is a low bitrate copy from a few years back, and it is missing a few pieces of music.
To my knowledge, Cliff composed the Galaxy themes, but he might've made the Space and loading music as well (don't take my word for it since I have no proof). As for Brian Eno did, he designed the procedurally generated music for the game. Other than that, I don't know who did the rest of the tracks aside from various production artists and the reused tunes from EAxis' other titles. Just to warn you, ripping the alien and GA tracks is not easy. Even if you are good at audio editing, ripping some of the tracks in GA is painful due to some tracks looping internally. I don't think I was very clear on that part, but I'll try everything in my power to make it as easy as possible. I see you got the old rip by Luminar that I once hosted for him. Once the project is complete, delete that version and never look back.
SporeUGSMusic Brian Eno composed the loading theme for sure (it's actually part of the song Hopeful Timean Intersect from one of his albums, Making Space). Emergence is also part of a song from the same album, Delightful Universe (Seen From Above). Part of me wonders how many of his other album songs are actually in the game...
i wanna sit down on my old computer and play spore. just as if i were a kid. and uhhh so much memories i have! it was the time Katy Perry was very famous and for some reason every time Katy Perry gets mentioned i think of spore💀
They are found in the in Spore_Audio1 and 2 package files in the data folder (the first contains sound effects, the second has music). You need SporeMaster to extract them, however I don't recommend you do that yet because it can be hard to find what you're looking for. I'm offering a guide in the future to teach people how to the rip the music for their listening pleasure. :)
I was looking forward to playing this game again even if it ment buying it again but Spore isn't supported by Mac in 2020 anymore....... literaly crying as of writing this EDIT: while I was upset that E3* scammed me by not supporting origin and stealing my money I got bootcamp so I'm just going to play it on steam; crisis everted *Man I can't type, you know what I meant lol. PS: a year later I had to get a new computer and they discontinued bootcamp so nevermind I guess. Really just want to play this game, really bummed
It's a little sad that someday I'll have to work for the things I have already. I grew up playing Spore and creating nonsensical creatures. I made most of them 'cutesy' with the black dot eyes, but I always tried to find a cute herbivore mouth so they didn't kill other creatures. Eventually that turned into me just creating normal creatures that I believe could be real. I don't play Spore that often becausae EA's annoying and forgets who I am if I don't play for two days, but yeah. Spore's a good game, EA kinda sucks, make a Spore 2 pleaaaaaaaase.
