Drogheda United will face Derry City in the 2024 Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup Final after Adam Foley's stoppage time winner secured a famous 3-2 victory over Wexford which sends the Boynesiders back to the Aviva showpiece for the first time since 2013.

As a person who visited Drogheda and Wexford back in 2021, I can say those 2 times are just not the best, but the greatest. I am sorry for Wexford FC for their defeat at Weavers Park today, however I am praised for their great awareness skills, especially their passing and shooting. I am hoping someday Wexford FC would be Champions of Ireland soon, it will not be long. Good luck Drogheda for the best and the greatest team in Ireland! An example to Ireland! Wexford FC main motto

Congrats to Drogs for reaching the final but you have to say they have been blessed in the draw all the way only playing one Premiership team and that was Dundalk. They may get a dose of reality in the final against Derry but who knows, one set piece or counter attack could win them the cup.

Drogs need to tighten up in defence. Ball watching, getting caught on the wrong side of players. Bolger caught out more times.

I agree they were lax against Wexford, but it will be different against Derry as Drogs are a counterattacking team, with Pierrot and James-Taylor up front. As long as they don't concede an early goal, they have a chance. If Derry score early, they will have to open up and that could be the end. Drogs will "park the bus" and hope for a quick break or set piece.
