"Chelsea's my team, we haven't won it for ages" lmao they literally won it in 16-17, the year before, and 14-15 to boot. In the past four seasons they've won it twice
Yep I knew she won in 99 as I was in the army at the time and beat a relative unknown. I also don't recall her retaining it and I'm sure Venus won her first in 2000.
Same as me. I knew all the football questions cos football is what I like most and I'm interested in its world cup history the most. Olympics were kinda shit for me.
Hmm, brush up on that before you go on the show, lots of Olympics questions come up. Worth watching a number of documentaries on the subject you silly sausage!
I didn't know who the rower was but gymnastics, boxing, diving are not olympic sports that athletes dominate and won 4 consecutive gold medals in a 12 year period. Dominance in those sports don't last that long so I figured it was rowing
1:15 this guy is smart. If you think you know the answer but still wanna use 50/50 then don’t say what think. That way they can’t play mind games on you
@@supercool1312 then couldnt done 50/50 after. 70% when its 2 answers isnt special but if its say 60% from 4 answers he'd have been better off. Genuinely believe if he asked the audience first then the 50/50 he wouldve got half a million
Absolutely, if there was A Who Wants To Be A Millionare (Sport Version) that Am gonna be A Millionare. Got the right answer in this video, so easy man:(
The one question of all these that I did know was Venus Williams, who started her impressive list of grand slam wins in 2000. Davenport won in 1999 and Hingis, my personal favourite at the time, in 1997. Useless trivia, unless you’re in the hot seat at the right moment lol.
The furst 5 questions are usually reserved for things that anyone can know, like things you find in your house or famous sayings. A huge chunk of people couldn't care less about football so it would be cruel on them for their 'easy' question to be something they know nothing about (obviously that's why you should revise, but they don't want anyone to lose and go home with nothing)
Yung Toaster Strudel why? fox news is very biased. anyone who watches fox or cnn cannot be trusted. same with people who follow the huffington post, nbc, etc.
As an American who is also a massive Premier League fan. l got all of them accept the cycling one. To be fair, l know who Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome are. The UK is just so loaded with cycling talent.
When I read the name of Sir Matthew Pinsent Rowing came straight into my mind, but I never heard of him before. Weird, I wonder why. Greetings from Berlin, Germany. Edit: watched the whole clip now, the exact same thing happened with Simone Biles, really interesting Got everything right and now I'm kinda proud
I,m italian. Well, here the show and the development of the game is quite different. I mean, why is everithing so quick? I've seen some GB and USA videos of WWTBaM and I've seen the same thing. For every question they take less than one minute, there is no drama, no "jokes", no reflession. -*Question* -Im not sure: i go 50:50 -ok -Well. That's my final answer. -Correct, 60,000£. Wow. So exciting. Why is everything so fast? A part for the first 3-4 questions, here in the italian version of the show they take all the time they need before the final answer.
What I would do to have that last question for half a million pound, knew it was Venus Williams and would have still had two lifelines for the million pound question 😅
No I think he got 6 it's what I originally thought. Would be embarrassing if they got it wrong. I think he scored 2 against Tunisia, 3 against Panama and then against Colombia. Then he didn't score against Sweden, Croatia or Belgium (Twice).
