I just assembled my new Ghost mag pouch on my plastic DAA belt (the same setup as the video). If you clean the plastic burrs with a good knife, you can raise the specer to the maximum. And the pouch is very rigid on the belt.
this design is quite easily to design and 3d print and will give you the ultimate control of how your gear fits you as you can easily redesign aspects on the fly and it would cost you very little money to completely rebuild your whole setup, and in many cases you can quite easily design parts to work with holsters you already have... the options are literally endless.
Before the price gouging, I was loading 9mm 115gr for $16 per 100. Now I haven't calculated because I'm still running on my previous stock. I'm going to ball park $25-27 per 100.
I used to reload .308 but the price of powder is so high now it’s hardly worth it. Casings are much more expensive, primers went from $40/1000 to over $100 and it just isn’t worth it anymore. Find a good bulk ammo option, maybe when they run rebate offers, and stock up.
Target Sports USA usually has small pistol primers. 5,000 (5 boxes of 1000) minimum purchase. Last time I bought them (a few months ago) $599. plus shipping & sate tax . Expensive but if you have the load you are married to they are a must. If you buy everything else in large quantities it’s still far cheaper than even the cheapest you’ll find online, using your fired brass. I load by headstamp which I believe yields a more consistent round and ease in loading. It’s taken me years but I have probably 30K casings- all sorted by headstamp. SPP loads for .45 and 10mm as well as 9mm and .380. The .10mm small primer cases are hard to come by but Blazer, Federal, Sig are fairly easy to find.
