I'm really glad you are thru surgery and back on the 4 wheelers it's a good feeling I remember when I went thru cancer and when it was over life was so important and I enjoyed life more then ever have a blessed day
yeah pretty sure a tune will let it rev higher and yeah those tires are absolutely slowing you down. also the AWD system a polaris uses isnt a real 4WD. the front tires only engage when the back tires lose traction. so you can drive around with it normally in AWD and you wont know the difference and wont do a thing to the diff.
I been riding bikes my whole life. First actual "big" (not really big but for my size it was) bike was a KLX 140L when I was about 11. I've rode 400ex, blasters, 125, etc. My dad bought one of these and let me ride it down the road.. Holy sh*t it's truly something else. It's scary as hell, especially due to its weight and bulky size. So much faster than you'd think
@@Superman01811 lol that’s what im saying I always beat them on my stocks I also have a lighter rim and some minor upgrades no engine work tho it keeps up with a turbo e85 rzr to lol
so this vid convinced me to get the 1000 over the 850. what speaker bar is that? it looks like they way youve got it mounted it doesnt block the high beam too bad?
Only 10 minutes ago I had never heard of you or your channel and now I love this video and I'm looking forward to other ones that you have done. Thank you.
Awesome man!! Thanks for the great feedback! I've been filming in 4K for about only 9 months so the quality isn't as good beyond that but the content can still be entertaining. 🤘😎
Anyone know if the difference in power and top speed differs greatly between the 850 and 1000? Wondering if the 1000 is worth the extra money. Quite a jump here from one to the other. Also. Anyone having any issues with their 2022 yet?
As far as top speed I'm not positive but as far as power there's actually a huge difference in power even though the CC displacement is not all that much of a difference.
i have the 2022 ultimate trail 850 no issues as of now, rode my wheeling buddy's 2019 1000 and to be honest i cant tell the difference between the two bikes with the exception of the engine braking my 2022 is a lot smoother and i don't have the rear end hopping/shuddering feeling and that chatter noise going down the hills when you feather the throttle to maintain speed the 1000 has a little more hp but more weight as well so when i add the dyno jet v3 i'll match the 1000's hp numbers with less weight witch in my opinion is not worth it hp is for top speed torque is whats needed on the trails and mud i personally don't need to do 83 mph on the trails but would rather have the torque to spin the 27 inch stock front tires and more important when we go bigger with the rubber
4 MPH DIFFERENCE. 850 DOES 78 MPH. 1000 DOES 82MPH BOUNCING OFF LIMITER. FLASHED MY 1000 HAD TO 88 MPH AND RAN OUT OF BALLS. INERWEB SAYS HITS LIMITER AT 91 MPH
I picked up a CFMOTO Cforce Overlander 1000 this weekend and hit a top speed of 78mph. I smoked my buddy's Ram Rebel 1500 and my brothers Kia Stinger with launch control on... These 1000cc utility quads are absolute ANIMALS.
To me quads are always more enjoyable simply because I feel more in tune with the machine as if you and the machine become one. With a side by side being that it's so large you're not as personable with the machine. Also the quad will be cheaper by a decent amount.
It's crazy that back in 1986 my 250R three wheeler went faster than a 1000cc monster atv of today, I thought for sure it would do over 100 for some reason.
I'm going to guess 74mph before I see.. When I was a teenager, the biggest Sportsman was a 500 and my buddy's uncle had a green one with a winch on the front. The biggest ATV was the Yamaha Grizzly 600 but I never saw one of those. I had a Honda Recon, then a 400EX.
I have the 2016 polaris 1000xp highlifter which comes standard with gear reduction… I want it to be fast as can be… I’m planning on gear swapping it to a higher gear. What else should I do to get it up to around 80mph like yours ??
I've reached 97 on pavement in my 2014 850 xp when I first got it now I can only reach 84 on pavement. They start to slow as they age but I love the 14 year. Haven't had any issues and I beat it up
i finally got my 2022 1000xp touring christmas eve, and when they say it is the most comfortable quad ever built they're not lying! She's a really animal when she needs to be, and a real pleasure to ride when you want a nice relaxing ride!
@@alittlebitofeverything5090 had an 850 for a couple years and had to replace bearings, axles, etc then upgraded to can am 850. Had the Can Am for about 4 years so far and it takes the abuse and keeps on going, so far just change oil in the Can Am and no issues.
@@chipevans8239 That's what I like to hear! Shouldn't have to be replacing parts like that on a machine that is literally supposed to be used off road in poor conditions. Thanks for the quick reply.
That's crazy I really figured that new of a machine especially being a 1000cc sportsman I thought it would at least hit my 2006 sportsman 800 will do 75 I mean the 1000 probably gets there quicker but it is no faster than my 06 800
