How to do a braid: First split the section you want to braid into 3 parts. Take one of the outside pieces with your index finger and thumb with one of your hands, and take the other outside piece with your index finger and thumb with your other hand. Choose one outside piece and using the hand holding it, grab the middle piece (go under it and then grab it) with your middle finger, and twist so that the outside piece you chose is now in the middle. Now do the same thing with the other side, other hand. Then, do it again with the side and hand you chose in the beginning. Repeat this process a couple of times.
