Bill Foster [ From Imdb:- Initially, Fred Gwynne did his own stunt work on the Munsters however, after falling flat on his back (which was the plan) and dismantling his head set, the studio hired Bill Foster (also known as Jeff County) as stunt double for Fred Gwynne. Fred Gwynne and Bill Foster met at Universal Studios when Bill (a security guard for Universal and an accomplished musician) saw Fred attempting to play a guitar one day and offered a few lessons.]

@@Gazoo-z5t They became good friends while on the set. There is actually a photo I have in my phone gallery of Bill Foster & Fred Gwynne standing side by side in front of Spot's staircase.

@@kevinmiller6324 Half of it is ACTUALLY Fred Gwynne. The other half was Bill Foster who only did the more potentially dangerous stunts. They wore "head pieces" & heavy makeup & had very similar physical stature. Only a keen eye can tell them apart.

Bill Foster was actually a security guard working at Universal Studios ( his regular paid job) at the time. Bill & Fred got along very well together.
