Ive been waiting to see gameplay like this and i think you have sold me on the game. I have only seen people do huge airs and ride ramps, i was hoping you could do cool tech stuff like real life. Great vid man.
You can get really tech already, and that's before Mash has implemented things like x-up positions and tricks in manuals/grinds, so should get even better over time! Ironically tech tricks are harder than going big though (as that style you have a lot of assists to help with transition)
Spent a lot of time skating there. I will say the ledges are pretty small in real life. But this is legit the plaza off of west Hastings street. Pretty sick.
Gonna download the no fail mod thing tomorrow. I think it should be a standard feature. The games pretty hard to get the hang of starting out and I think that allows people to play without so much of the harsh reality of not timing the trick perfectly. Thats what I loved about skate.
I say this on almost all of these dudes uploads. Im ready for this to hit console. I was already on pipe because a few of them. Now we have this? I've been ready.
Dunno how I feel about all these 'cheaty' mods coming out. I can see how no bail can open up some very niche opportunities but at the same time stuff like that and extra speed or low gravity can make things so trivial. Whenever I see an impressive clip now I just assume they used a mod and jibbed it somehow rather than actually grinding it out until they nail it.
Agreed and kind of ruins multiplayer and any chance to add in multiplayer game modes later if some people have low gravity or boosted spin speed on and are landing cab 7s on flat with ease.
Yeah, I feel the game is floaty enough so all I want to do is make things a bit heavier I think, also have a hard no rule on slomo but maybe that’s just me. I guess the more customization the harder all of this stuff will be to put together for anything competitive…
@@TekuFlat I really like how the base game is. Feels like a good mix of fun and realistic. It reminds me of Skate 3. I'd never be interested in something competitive but yeah, it makes things like that harder. I think my issue is that I like to see impressive clips but how impressive I find something is based on how hard I would find it to do the same thing. So the ability to adjust settings and make something easier kinda feels like it cheapens it. Then again I have never once thought the same thing watching a Session clip and everything is adjustable in that. Maybe it's something to do with the fact that the mods come bundled with stuff like unlock tools and just the name 'no bail', it makes it seem more like cheats than tools. I dunno. Either way it seems like everyone is still having fun so it's not too much of a worry. I'm gonna try to look at it more like I look at Session and the sliders in that.
Im still deciding if i want the game or not. is it worth 40$? and is it really hard to learn how to play coming from games like riders republic and desenders?
