I'm so glad you talked about the over-editing in videos! I love when people don't cut out those pauses. For one thing, it gives longer videos, which I personally prefer, and for another, it seems so much more comfortable and realistic. We just wanna get married, have babies, and have them all running around on our land and be happy and free and have good connections with the people in their lives. I didn’t read Caraval first, and I had no problem understanding the storyline. So you definitely don’t have to❤️

CARAVAL WAS SO GOOD YES YOU WILL ENJOY IT! there is only mixed opinions from the people who RUIN it for themselves by reading the second series first :(. The main guy in Once Upon a Broken Heart's story starts in the 2nd book of caraval. I think it brings him so much more depth and they're constantly refrencing events that happeneed in the first series. the problem is people who read the 2nd series first and then know how caraval ends :(. I'm the minority who enjoyed caraval more lol. The ending of the last book of once upon a broken heart was rushed and BAD! nobody wants to admit it because its such a great series :sob: its true tho! so please do yourself a favor of getting the entire story and start from caraval.

You can definitely read Once Upon a Broken Heart without reading Caraval plus it is generally the better book (series), but Stephanie Garber writes in such a magical way which makes Caraval worth reading in my opinion. If you end up reading Once Upon a Broken Heart first and then fall in love with the world, you cant go back to Caraval, because it all gets spoiled. You also get little snippets of characters from the other series in Caraval which I loved tbh.

Did you ever have anxiety about studying abroad or moving to Charleston all by yourself? If so how did you work through it? You absolutely don’t need to read caraval to read and enjoy once upon a broken heart!! It’s kinda of like a spinoff series and I never read caraval but I LOVED once upon a broken heart it was phenomenal and I never struggled with understanding the book either

I read Once Upon A Broken Heart is November (I didn't read Caraval before) and I loooooved it. I gave all the books 4+ stars and loved them so much. So you don't need to read Caraval beforehand, it's just based in the same world but I don't think it follows any of the same characters and I wouldn't recommend reading it before honestly. And you can always go back and read Caraval after if you want to.

I’ve been really enjoying these vlogs lately, they’ve been my escape while studying for exams!! Also Amazon returns are super easy and free, I do it all the time. Usually they don’t require re-packaging. Recently I read Caraval and loved it!! I finished it in 1 day and am planning on starting book 2 soon. People say you can read Once upon a broken heart without it but some things from the caraval series might be spoiled.
