Almanzo Wilder, whose boyhood inspired his wife Laura Ingalls Wilder to write the book "Farmer Boy," grew up in Malone, New York. The actor known for portraying Almanzo on the NBC TV series "Little House on the Prairie" often pays a visit to the farm, to make sure the property is respected and in good repair. almanzowilderfarm.com

Would love to visit. I've always been a fan of the tv show and the real Wilders for a long time. :D Oh, I saw some movements behind the screen door from 0:47, 0:48 and to 0:50. You have to watch very closely to see.

I love littlehouseontheprairie I watch it every day I love Dean Butler he reminds me of James Arness Gunsmoke actually he could have played spin the younger Gunsmoke Almanzo#Manley I would like to know does him and Melissa Gilbert still talk or any of the other .💖❤🙏😁

It does make sense, though. Laura's nickname for Almanzo was "Manly". So it would make sense that it be pronounced as Al-MAN-zo.

yeah. i've only watched the first two seasons of the show (and therefore haven't gotten to Almanzo's part in it), but I've never pronounced it like that. it does make sense!
