Agreed with you on the price inreases in the diecast industry, it's getting out of control. CMC models are outragesly expensive but the quality is amazing, although with CMC 1 out of every 3 models is defected.
Wasn't exoto historically on par with CMC in terms of pricing? I vaguely remember them being in the more or less the same price bracket, but I'm not sure if I knew about their weird pricing practices back then. Anyway, if that's the way it was, then an all-new detailed model for the price of CMC... Is still too much, but if you get the CMC level of detail, probably someone's going to buy it. I'm curious what you'll have to say about the Aperta. Are you planning to review it? It's a bit controversial given the BBR tax added to the price. And whoa, I remember MC20 being on preorder about a year ago and quickly selling out, are they available again?
Thank you for the news!) But for me 600 euros for 1/18 scale model of 60's F1 car is too much. I prefer to buy Quartzo or MCG for 80 - 100 euros. They have enough level of detailing and look very rearistic
Some customers are way to picky as well, anyone who has worked with customers you know you run into the customer from hell who you can't satisfy no matter what you do and their are lots of those kinds of customers out there.
