cool video!! i am a recent mtg player (started playing in the last couple years) and ante is just so funny and strange to me lol. i think it would be cute if they printed a newer card that is like an old callback to ante without actually taking your opponents cards for real. maybe on a commander or soemthing
Looking at them now, why are they banned? Sure, the implications, but the card clearly say they get removed from the game if people dont want to play for ante. Would those "casually" competitive people run them for "deck thinning," or just a way to make the start of the game take longer. They all seem find, besides the black wheel card.
