I agree! I'm losing out on content that I used to watch for free, because creators are saying they're losing ad revenue based on some of their content, so they have to charge. I just stop watching.

I watch hundreds of RU-vidrs on a regular basis and you are the very first person who said RU-vid is pressing you to charge people for things. There are three people I watched that have a patreon. I Wonder why RU-vid has singled you out. It's just sad when you can't turn on a video and enjoy somebody and follow them without feeling pressured to spend money. I guess it's all about the almighty dollar for you tube. 😢

I couldn’t figure out why you tube is pushing creators to have membership. I understood why creators would benefit, obviously. Answer? RU-vid takes a 30 percent cut of every single monthly member fee. That is a ton of money !

They've been pushing it for the past few months, but now it is showing up on my dashboard when I log in. I have mixed feelings about memberships and understand why viewers might be frustrated with how other creators have handled memberships in the past. I don't believe in taking away content that I've previously offered for free and suddenly charging for it.

Certainly do what is right for your business model. However at a time when the economy is in trouble and people have to watch their expenses and the endless request for subscriptions, I wonder what the support may be and eventually become? I thought content creators who get high views get paid very well on youtube and it cross markets to your platform to sell your items to your subscribers and you are a phenomenal marketer with all your content and platforms. I feel it's disappointing to see the need to squeeze more and more everywhere you turn. I truly do wish you well in all you do.

Did you not listen to what she said? She explained very well why she was doing the memberships & it made perfect sense. She isn’t withholding content, in fact, I personally believe the tiers she’s created are a lot of fun. You’re not pressured to join, so please keep continuing to enjoy her content. Sometimes people need to do things to keep their employer happy. That is how I view the issue, but you’re obviously entitled to your own opinion. I just thought she explained it really well, so your comment surprised me.

The Italian vase was a fabulous find! Mid-Century Bitossi, Aldo Londi sgraffito design. I have an ashtray of the same collection. Love your channel! It's definately my favourite to watch. xx

Sisterly hugs for you LaRae♥️. My sister LaRae passed in 2009! I miss her sooo much… I’m reaching for the phone a lot lately. It’s odd, as we never heard of or met another LaRae in our lives. Mom named her after a coworker at Pacific Bell in the early 50’s. My sister ran into her a couple years before she passed. The older LaRae had no idea that my mom had named her after her. This is my opinion and my opinion only on memberships, it creates clicks, like in high school clicks I've seen it happen on other channels. Some viewers and it's a small amount who want nothing more than to be your best friend regardless of how it looks or how they treat others, and they can get real possessive and nasty to those who are not in said group. 2 cents or sense either way it's an opinion. 🙃😊

When you said the name of the coasters all I heard was Sherman and then my mind went right to: Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney from Finding Nemo 😂 I had that cute duckie in the tub soap dish. We actually used it. It didn't hold up really well, but it WAS cute. I never begrudge people money they earn or deserve, but I am not in a position to do channel memberships. I lived most of my life without youtube, social media, and cell phones. When channels do prefered memberships, well, it just isn't for me and my life will go on. Thanks for operating the way you do.

In our Goodwill if something doesn’t have a price just take it to the register and they will still sell it to you. Thanks for keeping it real with the content! That’s why we like ya!

Our Goodwill region has a policy that if it isn't priced, they won't sell it. They take it to the back and it doesn't come back out for another 24-48 hours with a new price.
