thought you knew your cars. morgans have been around forever. the old ones were all made by hand. you learn something new every day 1320. keep up the good work
Sean Frederickson they've been around but they are a very rare sight and they are still made by hand not to mention these cars are easily in the 6 digits.
"what is that ? Morgan". Seriously ? You never heard about this brand ? There are plenty of them in the south of UK and north-west of Brittany. They also build 3 wheels cars, such as the Three Wheeler.
I am French and I know US car manufacturer such as Fisker, Karma, Aurica or Zimmer. It is just a known car manufacturer in Europe and certainly one of the most classy. Same for Eagle
you can buy an R34 in america and yes legally. theyre just very expensive like $160k, stop spreading disinformation. RISVU IMPORTS have imported a handful of midnight purple R34 vspec II's
I feel the same way when someone outside of the U.S. sees one of our *hundreds* of small output manufacturers cars. Shit, I don't even know all of them all and I live here!
The difference is that Morgan has been around 80 - 90 years and is VERY well known everywhere else- Europe, Asia, Australia and everywhere else in between. Fuck, they are that old that this is one of the only cars they make that don't have wooden frames!!! Who still makes cars with wood??? Morgan does!!!
Lol shoutout to Project Gotham Racing 2. That's where I first saw a Morgan lmao So convenient that I was just playing it last night as well as doing the stage with the Morgan being a selectable car O_o
It's a Morgan Aero 8, my friends father had one. He had a lift in his cabin that took it up in the livingroom, so he could drink some whisky and just watch it in all it's glory.
I think the Morgan comes with the old BMW M3 v8 engine, if I remember correctly... I saw an old episode of top gear featuring this car, but in coupe form!
Forgot to mention, highly unlikely that there will be 200 of them. I expect it will be less than 100 in this guise as the 4.8 engine supply has been used up now.The rarest is the GTN. Just 11 made Check out the you tube Top Gear video from 2004. The Series 2 run was around 57 cars.
4.8 V8. the 4.4 was in the series 1,2 & 3. The GTN has the 4.6 V8. The series 4 and this model, the series 5 are the only ones available with an auto option and the 4.8. I have the GTN and the Series 5. Previously had a series 3 and series 4, both of which went round the track pretty well!
gotta love morgans they use wood to save weight still to this day and most of them are powered by bmw v8 the 3 wheeler uses harley engine placed out front to keep it air cooled love them
Derek Hunter what if they like specific cars for example American muscle cars or Japanese imports and what if they don't care much for hundred thousand + cars
+Kevin Bustamante Then you are a muscle car guy or an import car guy or a euro car guy. I know 1320 is manly focused on high horsepower straight line speed. Broaden your horizon and you'll be surprised what you find
Its a Morgan, one of the few cars still made here in little old England, think the Aero was V8 and they have a chassis made of wood... *Edit Never mind I guess they don't use wood anymore
**Sees thumbnail** **Clicks video, pauses** **Comment: Its a Morgan...** **close video** Jesus christ all you have to of done was watch Top Gear once...
saw one of these (the normal one with roof). that sound is sweet, tried to keap up so i could listen some more but my car was not quick enough, even tho i think those have wooden chassies.
Colin hemligt No, the chassis on every Morgan has always been made out of metal. The body support structure is made out of wood, just like countless other cars made in the 1920s and 30s. This body support structure is commonly called a 'body frame'. People, who are clueless how these old car bodies are made, assume 'wooden body frame' means wooden chassis...It's like pulling the bumper off a modern car, seeing the plastic support structure, and declare the car has a plastic chassis. It's just pure ignorance.
"There only making 200 so its totally unique" I wonder if he uses that line in the dealership and anybody ever explains the meaning of the word to him.
It's a Morgan... it's a car made on another planet called Europe.. And the strangest part... is that they make other cars in Europe... it's true! Not fake news!! Seriously.. calling yourself a car channel and not knowing what a Morgan is? Old cars were made out of wood!! It's pretty hard to miss given that it's the "only" brand that does that!
Neck Peck You guys say that like it's such a problem. Like cmon...I'm pretty sure there's plenty of dudes in the Muscle and Import scene who would think that it's just some Rolls Royce at first glance too.
