No bending or load on the gates. For sure it is a pinch point between beam and carabiner, but it is still 99% loaded along its spine in the direction of its major axis, 1% sideways on-the-flat without bending, torsion, gate, cross or edge loading. This sideways force acts like placing a carabiner on a table flat and putting a book on it. A heavy one.
