I'm so glad I found this tutorial! My sister-in-law requested a "rustic" cup with oranges and browns for her aunt and she liked the plaid idea. This is exactly what I needed! :)

I want to do a white, blk & grey one. Does it matter if i spray dark or light color first

Yes, for my black and white plaid I start with a white base. Then spray gray on the first two tape steps (or mist black) and on the final tape step I spray solid black. I have an order for one coming up and I am going to film it!

Mary Kathryn Griggs I have! I have another one on RU-vid and my FB tutorial group (like is in this video description) using white, red, cranberry and black. I have another popular style that I only use black and white- I will probably film that one soon!

Quick coat is more like a sealer . I like to use it on chunky glitter to help fill in cracks BEFORE epoxy. It can help your epoxy layer go on smooth. Fast set from CCDIY is a quick setting epoxy that is cured in only 2 hours!
