I think this was pine wood, Pine has a lot of small knots which sometimes makes it look a bit ugly on larger surfaces. If it would have been steam beech, maple, teak or ash wood then it would look way better naturally with a clear polish.

I’d be curious to see or to know how long it last since you didn’t prep by sanding or priming. I have a huge armoire that I need to change. I can’t move it outside to sand. I don’t care about rolling it but I can’t spray-painted either. I’m just wanna know how this holds up over time. Well it’s been 10 months so you should have an update and let everybody know. How many cans of paint did the cabinet require? Did you not think a whole cabinet sanding and a primer layer would increase the longevity of the finish?

Try buying the spray in description or pinned comment , you may have to take a screenshot and then copy and paste the link , or write it down as RU-vid stopped links in short videos
What kind of spray paint! One with a primer? Will the paint stick if you didn’t lightly sand that surface!? Looks great but will it last without getting scuffed? And did you use a topcoat?

Hi thank you , I did wipe down the day before, but no standing is required .. months later it is still perfect and a great finish. Such a quick and easy job . There’s absolutely no need , back in the day I would’ve said the same but this paint is amazing.. paint has come along way ! it’s over a year since I’ve done this and it’s perfect

I cleaned it but no primer amazing.. the paint is brilliant.. please read the pinned comment.. also you can use the link there for the paint I used , link may not work as RU-vid stopped links in shorts this year ..so you may have to write down the link , or take a screenshot then copy paste into web browser. Not too much, really I sheeted up as much as possible but there was a new carpet and everything going in there so , the windows open .. Normally as a painting decorator i do primer and under coat and two top coats this was so quicker and that’s why I chose this option 🙂
