I am very interested to see how this study is going to go. The Bible states in Genesis 10:3 that Ashkenaz is the son of Gomer. If that is the case and it has been proven that the Bible accurately points out the nations lineage, how can sons of Gomer that descend from Japheth be heirs to the land promised to descendants of Shem? The land was promised to blood descendants of a people. How does converting to a religion make you a descendent of a tribe? What happens if we find out that it isn't 10 tribes that were lost, but all 12 that were lost?

Although this past weekend was supposed to honor the soldiers who gave it all in service to our nation and to secure freedom from tyranny in the world, I know that you recognize veterans who served and did not have to die. I served in the USMC from '76-'78 training for desert warfare in 29 Palms, CA maintaining the radar defense systems. I have no regrets for the service that I gave even though I was never deployed to any battlefield. The experiences and knowledge gained in the Marines are invaluable for our young men and women, and I recommend that it be mandatory for US citizens to serve in the military because the real-world experience and knowledge of the specialty of our MOS can follow us into the civilian sector of our society, and the veteran's benefits are a godsend. So as a veteran myself, I think forced conscription is against the Constitution. It's slavery. Slavery is directly opposite to freedom AND Christianity. Not only that, but you are forcing someone to make life and death decisions for not only the so called "enemy", but also for those who serve under you. To add salt to the wound, you are forcing someone to take an oath of allegiance which Christianity strictly, forbids placing the decisions of man above the leadership of Jesus in their lives. I've just begun watching this series. I don't know if he addresses this later so forgive me if this is premature? He said there would be a lot of scriptures but so far not many. He keeps saying God or the bible declared Abraham a Hebrew and Isaac is declared a Hebrew and Jacob was declared a Hebrew but there are no scriptures to support that. I thought the term Hebrew came from Abram being Noah's descendant Eber? Surely Abram wasn't the only one to "cross over" the river? Comments welcome?

10 lost tribes is a Jewish theory not supported in the NT, read the book of James. How to you address a letter to the scattered tribes (not lost) if you don't know their address? The 2 house theory assumes that the 10 tribes of the north disappeared but many of them returned to Judah when they realised that Jeroboam was setting up an alternate form of worship.

SO tonight I am reading my Bible, (YHWH is everything to me ❤ Praise His Holy Name ❤❤❤)… So I am reading Psalm 105:41, which says, “He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it flowed through the desert like a river.” Which is about Moses giving the Israelites water from the rock… But really YHWH says it is about Jesus and the Holy Spirit being released upon the land of Israel. The Lord says to me, “The Spirit flows over the land, and when the river dries, the Lord will come. The gates will close and the door will be shut up and no more shall enter the house of the Lord.” Now let me just say, I have only been studying the Word for about a year, but I met Jesus in July 2023, He took me to Heaven, where they celebrated my return to the Kingdom. I had been lost, and now I am found. All I do is study the word of God now. I have devoted my life to Him. He is pleased… I was suicidal and Jesus saved my life… The point is. I think you'll find that Jesus's mother Mary (Miriam) was actually Levite from the line of Aaron. Her blood cousin was Elizabeth mother of John the Baptist. Elizabeth's husband was Zechariah and was the serving High Priest when told of by Gabriel of the upcoming conception of John. Therefore because Mary was Aaronic then so was Jesus. The fact that Joseph was Jesus's father legally and Joseph was descended from David meant that Jesus was also of Judah legally. Thus high priest and King.

One is identified as the "House of Judah and the other is called the "House of Israel" or" house of Joseph" or "House of Ephraim" and division between these houses begins with Rehoboam and Jeroboam. The kingdom splits and both houses fall away from God in different ways and are judged accordingly. The house of Israel is judged with divorce from God. They forget who they are as a people and are scattered among the pagans. God promises to cause them to remember and return in the later days. This is all laid out clear as crystal in the major and minor prophets. It's in Deuteronomy but somewhat vague.
@joshuadc82, You are so correct, fear not. I want to add something that Jesus said and forced me to study the Torah " I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the House of Israel" (Matthew 15:24). This verse is within the faith of a Gentile Woman narrated in Mt. chaper 15. This woman was, most likely, one of the lost sheep of the 10 tribes and knew the Torah when said " little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters". Roman chapter 11 tells more when he wrote about the Fullness of the Gentiles which is happening just now. The letter to the Romans was sent to believers living in the epicenter of idolatry and sexual immorality at that time.
The Chosen people in the old covenant (the Jews) are actually the point of reference for the new covenant people (both Jews and Gentiles). In scripture, the number 10 represents “many” . Therefore, the 10 tribes gathering together in later days refers to all mankind that will come together to build their faith in the true Creator God and form the Kingdom of spiritual Israel on land, while those going with Christ during 2nd coming will form the Judah kingdom and will live in the eastern sky of the earth.
There are no "lost" tribes of Israel. It's clear from the archeological record what happened to the northern tribes when the Assyrians took the northern kingdom - those that could fled to Jerusalem and the remains of their temporary dwellings were built right against Hezekiah's "broad wall". The remains can be seen by anyone today in the Jewish quarter. After the Assyrians were defeated they were then incorporated into the southern population. Not lost but rather became refugees...
